Would it be stupid to kill Kenny?

Season 1s Motel group was legendary. We knew and loved them all. Maybe because we got so many things to know about them, unlike season 2 where everyone gets 5 lines to say, then die. So. My point is that, the only back from the motel is Kenny, Clemmy and Lily(havent even showed up yet), and if Kenny dies, the only one back til Clem. Will it just be like slapping the old group in the face and make a new group "cabin" group no one cares about? I loved Motelgroup. We got so many things to talk with them about. I hate the cabin group. Its all about Clementine and Kenny. Back in season 1, everyone had a role to fill.

Will it be stupid to destroy the motel group? Only Lilly and Clem is back. What do you think?

  • So many Kenny threads...

  • The entire motel group (excluding Clem) should be gone. Kenny is still taking the spot light even 3 episodes through the second season. It's getting ridiculous and tasteless.

  • I think so. In many instances of TWD (comics, show) the main protagonist still has some members of the original group left. That's why I hope Kenny and Christa will both survive, because I prefer old characters getting new development rather than just new characters getting thrown around left and right that I don't even care about.

  • Even though I enjoy Kenny as a character, I am getting a bit fed up with his constant overshadowing of the Cabin Group. I wouldn't mind him staying alive, but I wouldn't mind him dying either. (If he does die, please don't let it be a heroic sacrifice. It already happened in Season 1 and we don't need a repeat.)

  • No, especially if it means character development for everyone else.

Am i the only one that likes the Cabin Group here?

Luke, Nick, Carlos, Rebecca, and Sarah are great characters in my book. And i think Kenny's doing a good job on his ''being an ass'' role, while still being one of the only characters left from the last season.

In my opinion, everyone had a role in episode 3. (Maybe not Nick, but that's probably just lazy writing.) I don't really think Kenny is overshadowing anyone, he's just an important character.
    .

  • I like the cabin group as well, but really much of their development was stunted when Kenny returned, plus we really don't know much of their back story at all. I wish they would have waited to reintroduce Kenny so that we could have received a better sense of the group.

  • I like Kenny, but it is time for him to move on. He completely overshadowed the cabin group with taking more dialogue than the rest of the group in Episode 3, killing Carver (In my opinion Carlos, Alvin or Rebecca should have done that), and acting violently. Kenny is one of my favourite characters, but it is time for him to move on.

  • I think Kenny should go but not Clementine. She's not the problem.

  • Yep I totally agree.

  • Clem needs to go. Her character is boring, repetitive, she's never the highlight of any episode even in S1, i hardly care for her, and the story would be so much better with a new protagonist, IMO.

The game is too repetitive. Kenny, i would understand if he died. At least he is interesting. Clem, on the other hand, has nothing interesting about her. At all. TTG messed up IMO. They should've ended her story after S1. A bit too late now.

Honestly, i don't think this opinion matters, because i know TTG won't do it.

And Viva-La-Lee, if anything is ridiculous and tasteless, it's Clementine. She's boring. I'm gonna get a lot of flak for this, but i feel like this has to be said. I'm still gonna play TWD. And i do have mixed feelings about this. At the end of the day, it's a game, more importantly, it's TTG game. So TTG do whatever you feel is best. Just write Clementine better. She's boring.

But you technically are Clementine. You make the decisions for her and choose what she gets to say. As for the highlight thing, she's the protagonist. Every episode is about how she will deal with every major conflict.

  • It doesn't seem like every episode is Clem dealing with it, it's the characters around her doing all the crazy shit and they're dealing with it.

  • Starting to flip my shit with these Kenny threads that make absolutely no sense when you read it.

  • Yes and no.

I love Kenny a lot, and yeah i would be saddened when he dies, but he does need to die soon, as soon as telltale brought him back it's like they threw the cabin group out the window.
