I have a question about Glamours...

In many discussions, people are saying that this person may be glamoured as that person and they've been tricking us the whole time, but would that really work? My main argument is about ones voice. When someone like Toad or Gren is glamoured, their voice is the same. So when people concoct theories about glamours and people being glamoured as another, is your voice changed to match as well ?

  • Aunty Greenleaf's voice was changed to fit that of a little girl, so yes, being glamoured as someone else does change one's voice.

  • Possible their voice changes, but some people also have an incredible vocal range ... so I don't think it does change. If a person's voice seems to change, it's the character changing it themselves, not the glamour. Actors like Seth MacFarlane have such a range that people sometimes have a hard time realizing a person did two very different roles. The guy who did Ezio Auditore in Assassin's Creed II also did Sonic the Hedgehog so that guy has quite a vocal range, too.

Think of glamours as costumes and acting roles. They're acting as someone else. So if they can change their voice to fit, they'll do it. Otherwise, they'll be too easy to catch. Criminals have a larger reason to pretend to be someone else so they're more inclined to attempt to change their voice when glamoured.

Granted, I don't read the comics so maybe it's explained there.
