    I like the theory, however if they make a season 3, it will be odd having different places to start.

    It may just be a general hidden message of how morality keeps people close to you, while being a monster can make you end up alone, I don't think Telltale put that much thought into that, they don't do that a lot, but I'd be surprised if the that's actually foreshadowing.

    It's very easily possible. The chessboard in Episode 2 did foreshadow Carver's defeat after all.
