I just realized this. I think this was the intention all along. You know the Cryer? The ginger guy that showed up in a whole bunch of scenes? Everyone seemed to get distracted by him in the beginning. That was because he was a red herring. A RED HAIRing.

    I think he was supposed to be the original killer. However the theory got so popular that TellTale had to change the story, I think this was the reason for the very long delay between episode 1 and episode 2.
