Discuss the ending (Which theory do you think is correct?) SPOILERS!!

Personally I think the game leaves it open for interpretation so I dont think there really is a wrong answer.. Unless It's explained in a second season.

Nerissa was glamoured as Faith in episode 1

Faith was glamoured as Nerissa the whole time

Which do you think is right?

Comments

  • I honestly never even considered that possibility until the final cut-scene, but it makes everything come full circle in the end. The ribbons prevented the girls from seeking any outside help due to their magical properties, so the only option the real Narissa had to protect Faith was to glamour herself thereby protecting her from her eventual fate. The evidence is laced throughout the game with the note in the locker down to the mannerisms that the glamoured Narissa shared with Faith from the beginning of the game.

  • I don't understand though. I'll have to replay it, but I thought Faith's head had the exact same bruises that the Woodsman had given her.

  • I think it simply being that Nerrissa was glamoured at the beginning makes more sense. Not that Faith was glamoured the whole time

  • The problem I have with Nerissa being glamoured as Faith is it should be obvious to the Crookedman and his minions that someone had been posing as Faith. Since Bigby's main suspect is the Woodsman who beat her that same night [especially concerning since the Woodsman was Lily’s client]. I think suspicion would immediately fall upon Nerissa the only witness to the murder.

  • The obvious answer to say is that it's ambiguous. While that's not wrong, I'm pretty sure we only meet one woman throughout the story.

When Bigby runs all those lines of dialogue through his head once more, the ones that caught my attention were the one about hiding beauty and Swineheart wanting to run some more tests on the ring. Makes me think that we were dealing with Faith throughout the story, though I'm not totally convinced of that.
