Is anyone else having this problem?

I don't know what is going on, but I'm getting pissed about this and I wonder if it's happening to anybody else. So I just finished playing TWAU entirely, but when you start and you see "what happened in the previous episode" I was pissed at what I saw. The game literally showed that I made choices that I didn't make in the last episodes. Like for example, when I was in episode 4 and I went to that glamour lady's apartment, Snow commanded that Bigby burn the tree. I chose not to burn the damn thing and I should know since I had to put up with Snow scolding him about it. That is not how the game saw it. As I continue to watch the video, it showed that I did burn the tree. I was screaming, "What? WHAT!?! I didn't do that!" Second, in episode 4, Colin asked Bigby if I would send him back to the farm. Colin is awesome and I of course told him no. However, episode 5 strikes again showing that I "kept silent" when he asked the question. "I didn't do that either!!!" So I'm curious, did this happen to anybody else besides me? Because of this, I had a hard time playing out episode 5.

  • Keep in mind, I'm mainly trying to prove a point about episode 5, but to prove my point I had to use examples from episode 4.

  • I had the same issue, and it isn't fun. Not only did it register the exact opposite of what I chose regarding Auntie Greenleaf, it also falsely registered a choice in the first episode; I grabbed the Woodsman and not the Tweedle, but during a certain scene it apparently registered that I had grabbed the Tweedle... and beat him mercilessly? No, no I did not.

What version were you playing? PS3 here.

  • I have the Xbox console. You know what, I had a problem with Tweedle Dee in ep 5 too. The other Fables, including him, were saying that I beat the living hell out of him during the interrogation in ep 2. I admit, I did punch him the first time, but then I showed him complete hospitality throughout the conversation. Bluebeard even got pissed about that. It's like they're saying if I hit him even once, I'm a bully and his face was really messed up.

  • sony testing..

did you check the save file is correct ?

  • Yup, save one was my "nice" file (went after Woodsman, played nice during the interrogation) and the one I used last night, save five was my "be mean to everyone and beat up Tweedle" save that I haven't played episode 5 with yet.

  • I had the same kind of issue, but regarding the choices of killing Dum, in the third Ep. so i replayed it. It seems like a bug. I'm on PC BTW.

  • That sucks. Sounds like a bug though. I'd be annoyed if that happened to me. But I agree with u on "torturing Dee", if you use 1 somewhat violent tactic, everyone's quick to say you abused him! I didn't like that. All I did was tighten his straps and that was it! Didn't punch him or anything. And then at the witching well everyone was like "you beat up Dee" but luckily there was an option that said Bluebeard did it, which he did. But then at the end of the game, the special stats said I used the same tactics Bluebeard did.....well sorryyyyyy Dee wasn't talking and I was trying to assert my power just a little bit without being ruthless!

  • It happened to me. not once did I burn Greenleaf's tree in any of my saves but it registered as though I did. I'm on 360

  • Same here with Greenleaf's tree. I distinctly remember I hired her, not burned her tree. So yeah, seems like a bug to me. PC version here.

  • Same thing happened to me. Already posted a thread about it earlier.
