I Don't Think the Ending Was Necessarily A Cliffhanger
Obviously the ending of Episode 5 left us wondering to the point of confusion, with the whole Nerissa thing. But I don't believe the intention was meant for it to be a hook for a Season 2. (Not saying there couldn't be a Season 2) I believe it was just meant to be a sort of epiphany moment that left us asking, but alright either way. Kind of like the end of the finale of Everybody Hates Chris or That 70's Show, for anybody who understands. We understand the situation (Well, enough), but we just want more.
I think that feeling fits more though if you let her go, though. I didn't run after her.

I don't think they should've given us the choice. As much as I want to choose to run after her, it's a much better ending if you let her go.
Chinatown
Film noir...It all makes sense now. I just had an epiphany myself...
