Why doesn't Reggie ask about...
Luke? By the time we're reintroduced to him, Luke is MIA. Why doesn't he question Luke's whereabouts like he does the other missing group members? For all they know at that point, Luke could've been dead as well.

He mentioned Pete's absence, and Rebecca told him that Pete died. So maybe he assumed that Luke died also so he didn't want to bring it up.
Idk, just a thought^
Duh, Reggie was obviously working with Luke and was trying to escape, and Carver found out about it this why he threw him off of the roof...
Still a better explanation then "Not enough berries motherfucker! Die!"
Because he asks about Pete first and gets the "he's dead" look from Rebecca and he prolly just didn't want to keep asking her about people who could possibly be dead. He also doesn't ask about Nick if Nick dies in ep 2.
He does ask about Nick, actually. And when he learns he died he says something along the lines of, "He was always taking stupid risks."
Oh, yeah, I forgot.
good question , i never really thought of that,
Probably mistakes in the writing or Reggie didn't want to make a situation that was already bad worse.
Wow i missed that detail. I suppose there's a good reason. But i guess we'll never know for sure.
The idea that he doesn't want to bring anyone else up could be plausible if not for also bringing up Nick right afterwards. Plus, wouldn't he have just asked "Where's Pete and Luke"? Ditto Nick's mother, although I don't know if it's ever been stated that she died at the cabin and not before everything with Carver happened. I just remember that they thought they could control it, which sounds like it'd had to have been pretty early on. He doesn't mention Alvin either, if I remember correctly, if he died in episode 2.
So really, it comes down to the writing. Not necessarily a flaw, per se, but an oversight.
maybe carver was never going to bring luke back he was going to kill luke for leading the others astray
Yeah, I wondered this too at first, but since Reggie also didn't ask about Nick's mom and Nick doesn't even react to the mention of Pete's death, I thought it was just another oversight in the writing, or Reggie was told by Carver and others that they captured everyone except Luke. So they all probably knew Luke was either still out there somewhere or dead, and therefore he wouldn't need to ask what happened to him? It probably was just an oversight imo though.
I feel like Carver would have ended up getting rid of most of the people living under him
Interesting point. I like that explanation!
A better question is why did Reggie die so quickly after his appearance? I was instantly drawn to Reggie's character. A soft-spoken kind hearted victim of Carver's regime who wanted nothing more than to keep his nose clean and his head on straight. And as a result, his death scene was one of this most contrived and shallow means of Carver's "development" I've ever seen. Reggie's death was so fucking dumb.
Eh. I'm gonna jump on the train and say that Kumail Nanjiani was not a very good narrative video game Voice Actor. Therefore, I don't think I could stick around and listen to his subpar vocal inflection for another episode or two.
I love Kumail - his standup is one of the better routines today IMO - but it just wasn't his role.
I know literally NOTHING about Mr. Nanjiani, but I enjoyed his performance as Reggie (probably because I relate quite closely with him).
