Faith/Nerissa Question/Confusion

So, I think we are all in agreement that Faith isn't Faith or Nerissa isn't Nerissa (depending on your opinion), but there is something that has been bothering me.

Why does "Nerissa" tell the Crooked Man when she confronts him at the Well that he "probably doesn't remember" her? That can't just be a line the writers threw in to fill time, that means something. And the Crooked Man seems more than just flustered at her sudden appearance at his trial. He doesnt seem concerned because "someone has evidence", he's been standing there for a while listening to people accuse him and he barely bats an eye. Her appearance changed his entire demeanor.

Something about the Nerissa/Crooked Man relationship just isnt right. Shouldn't the Crooked Man know who she is? She's been working for Georgie since this whole thing began, although she's a bit of a newbie.

Anyone have any ideas?

  • Okay, so, in my play through I had Bigby kill the Crooked Man and have yet to go through that version; however, if I had to guess it could probably be that the Crooked Man was subjected to a memory altering/wiping spell like all of the police were subjected to at the beginning of Episode 2. I can't say that I would know a motive for this, but it could have possibly happened.
