What if...
The reason the 400 Days characters (sans Bonnie) weren't featured heavily in the story was because they are saving it for another DLC that will cover them at points before, during, and after Season Two?
Just throwing this thought out there, to see what people think of it.

I have an idea for a DLC for Season 2: Untold Stories DLC - featuring characters' adventures off-screen: Kenny, Luke, Christa, Lilly, Tavia
I like your idea though for the 400 Days characters getting their own spotlight, but I just feel like we should get something different like maybe the group could be at a campfire telling their stories of survival? I just feel like the next DLC should revolve around different characters, because it would make it seem like the 400 Days characters (apart from Bonnie) are all just going to be apart of the DLCs and not the main story, whish so far they haven't really done much but make cameo appearances (apart from Bonnie).
I think they weren't featured prominently because people had already been complaining about short episodes and long waiting, and having 16 different possible combinations of prominent 400 days characters would've made both so much worse. But yours is a good idea. It would help make people feel like the choices in 400 days counted, aside from Bonnie.
