What kind of post-game DLC would you want?

Whether '400 days' style (from TWD), or something else, what would you want to see? If it was something similar to 400 with a spotlight on different characters' stories, which ones would you want?

Personally, I like the idea of having something like 400 days, but with a mini story that focuses on a small group of people instead of individuals. It could be an interlude to season 2, or if there isn't one, just wrap up everybody's stories nicely.

So like the group in charge: Snow, Bluebeard, Bigby, King Cole.

Other Woodlands characters: Beauty, Beast, Flycatcher, unseen Fables.

Trip Trap characters: Holly, Gren, Woody, maybe Jack.

Villains: Jersey, the Tweedles, maybe a teaser if Mary's still alive.

It could round up with what 'Nerissa' is doing now.

  • I thought about that too. I would LOVE to be able to have something like 400 days and the one thing i would totally want to see is the Trip Trap. Playing as either Holly or Gren?

Gren is my favourite character so i would be disapointed if they made something like 400 days and we don't get to see him. If Gren is there i am happy, i think they have done a great job so far so i would be excited to see what else they have in store for TWAU because it cant just end like that D:

  • I'd either like to see one where you can get the answers about the whole Faith/Nerissa thing, but that is more likely if they decide not to make a S2. If they do decide to make one, the DLC will be a bridge to it, so I hope it will be one where we can see Cindy or other Fables that they hopefully incorporate into the second season.

  • That is easy. Cindy investigating officer B.

  • I wanna play as Jack

  • I would like to see how everything was when the adversaries came to take over the homelands, but I guess your theory of a 400 Days DLC style sounds fairly entertaining too.

  • Bloody Mary and her antics.

  • I'd want to play as Jack or Cinderella. Hell Colin would be hilarious to play as lol.

  • I'd like to see what happened to:

    Mr. Toad

    Nerissa/Faith

    Crane

I want a dlc where Bigby watches Mundy tv with Colin, oh, and an 80's montage music video which features all of TWAU characters dancing to 'Head Over Heels' by Tears for Fears.

I would like to see several characters during their life in the Homelands, maybe all focusing on the day they get driven out of it?

1:Mr Toad's life back in Wind and the Willows, his relationship with Badger and TJ.

2:Georgie and Viviene, how they found each other and traveld to New Amsterdam.

3:Bigby and Snow White meeting, I would love to see the Wolf in the Fold storyline played out in-game.

4:Narisa,Faith and Lily making a pact with each other in the Homelands to find a better place.

5: Colin in a rare show of courage saving his brothers and all animal Fables from the Adversary's clutches. Basiacly giving him a reason why Bigby tolerates him so much.

And the choice could be the Book of fables in the buisiness office who picks each story from there (like the bulletin board in 400 Days). After all the stories we done we pan and find out that this person who is reading up all these stories....is detective Branigan!

    DUN DUN DUN!

  • That is a very unique idea, holy shit.

  • Um wrong discussion page buddy.

I want to see what happened when Bonnie and the others got to Carvers camp

  • There was this whole Cinderella idea/ something to do with the Boy who Cried Wolf as Bigby Deputy they could easily incorporate into a great DLC. Here's the link to the whole thing being uncovered.

  • Man I just want more Wolf Among Us Stuff
The Walking Dead Season 3 was announced and sadly nothing about TWAU

  • 1 would have to be after the main events of his story (TJ wasn't born yet in the story), 2 would be in the Homelands since he did say they escaped together, 3 would be interesting mostly to see which other fables Bigby saved (strong possibility of Faith), for 4 to be 100% true it has to happen during the invasion which I highly doubt considering their tales (Faith lives in Lawrence's kingdom, Lily lives in Prince Charming's based on Holly's comment, based on Nerissa's tale she could have met Lily), 5 might happen (Colin could be a better tactician than builder).

Detective Branigan wouldn't read it though, but Boy Blue might since he needs to get acquainted with everything.

  • 1: Of course, agreed. We see Toad as the big cheese, the apex of his reign.I kinda like the idea of him using his car and being given the choice to save his fortune or Badger/Stinky with TJ servign as his Clemintine of sorts.

    2: Yup.

3: Hmmm...Point. Maybe we can go for a twist and say Faith was there as well? Which smell did he REALLY bound with?

4: True, we can base this prior to the Wolf Among Us where we establish early Fabletown.

    5: Again, yup yup.

As for Branigan...I dunno it would throw us for a loop AND ties in to the cut material from the original script.

  • Mmm-hmm, still a fantastic band to listen to! And hell yeah! I used to listen to that song and watch the music video a lot.

Tears for Fears you say!!! Everybody Wants to Rule the World?

    1. I think the best possibility is Mr. Toad driving around till he finds future Mrs. Toad, and then their marriage followed by TJ being born and the short time they lived together. And ending that part with the beginning of the Homelands invasion.
    2. They escaped early on so it would be interesting to see how much they care about eachother.
    3. It could be how many fables did Bigby save when there was only one open portal left.
    4. We know Lily, Holly, Nerissa, Snow, Cindy, Jack, and Briar Rose lived in one kingdom so it could be who knew who and how did Lily and Nerissa meet Faith. Do the kingdoms border eachother?
    5. It would be interesting since it ain't mentioned how Colin and his cousins/brothers escaped.

Boy Blue makes more sense than Branigan. 20 years before issue 1 ain't 40 years before issue 11.

  • I want to see bigby run around in the forest in full wolf and kill big monsters and shit like dat

1: So we see a less sleazy side to Mr Toad? I agree there. Personally I have been intrigued how each Fable escaped from the Homelands. Flycatcher's is downright tragic when you read about it. Also here's a question, since Wind and Willows takes place round the 19th century with steam trains and whatnot...doesnt that mean Mr toad's Homeland AND Tiny Tim's for that amtter had a better chance resisting the Adversary? After all they have wha tthe other Homelands didn't....cannons and muskets!

    2: Yup, agreed.

3: I dunno, it has to be a emotional short scene of sorts. Again like in 400 days we meet characters who had the most terrible shit happen to them on that day.

4: We could have them meet in the refugee flow? show how refugees are treated in war times. (topical with the Isreal/palestine buisiness).

    5: And agreed.

Fair enough....but I still like to involve her somehow. We saw very little of her in Season One so to bring her in would be cool.

  • Something in the homelands, before everything even happened. Maybe a back story that plays into a future predicament. Willingham does that a lot in his comics to give background information, as well as a better understanding to readers as the Fables try to figure out how to solve their problems. It'd be awesome.

  • I would LOVE something about Bloody Mary tbh. Even just a small 30 minute chapter of her like they did with the characters from 400 days, maybe of how she became Bloody Mary? ( A great chance to roll up the Rachel = Mary theory! )

  • I still doubt she has any connection to Green leaf whatsoever
