    What's with the thumbs-down? It's not the big prize, but even the nomination is good news. The Sam & Max games have gotten various "editor's choice" merits and "funny game of the year" and "adventure game of the year" exposure, but to be considered for simply game of the year, full stop, on a mainstream site is a step up. This is great news.

    I'm glad of a lot of things in life, but especially glad that this gives a valuable lesson to these idiots at Lucasarts for lacking faith.
