Sam and Max Season 1 problems!!

Whevever i play any of season one, after a while the game will just cut out, and close and return to my desktop. When i try to open the game again there are no graphics, the screen is grey, and there are 4 rectangles at the top (representing load/save etc) and you can click on them, but there are still no graphics. The game will work again after i restart my computer, but its not long before the game just shuts itself down again?? I dont know what to do?

    Hey Trudi, my first suggestion is to update your graphics card drivers and your DirectX. If that doesn't work (or you don't know how to update your drivers), could you tell me your system specs? Primarily what operating system and what video card you have.
