Can we actually talk about what we DID like about E4?

All of the threads I'm seeing are about "oh Episode 4 was a disappointment" and "this episode was the worst"

I think you all need to stop looking at the flaws and see what WAS good about the episode. I mean, the model for Rebecca's baby looked really good, despite how we thought Telltale wouldn't be able to pull it off. We got a lot of character development from Jane, Luke and Kenny. We got to make a lot of really hard decisions that did effect different parts of the episode.

I rate this episode 9/10. Most of you aren't realizing how hard it is to please the WHOLE fandom with an episode. Telltale works really hard to make a good episode, come on, they made it TWO WHOLE HOURS for Pete's sake! Atleast appreciate that? Ya'll are ranting about how "oh Nick's death was soo lame" and "Sarah dies either way thats so stupid." Nick was a dead man anyway, he was a determinant character. Sarah wasn't fit for that world, and I'm sure she'd rather be with her father than with the group.

ALL IM ASKING, is that we just lighten up a bit and talk about what was really good about Episode 4? I personally loved it, I don't care what everyone else has to say. I could SEE the effort that Telltale put in this episode and that made me like it even more. It takes a whole lot to please you guys. For real. Try making an episode that everyone is fond of. It's not simple.

SO, that being said...let's talk about the excellent experiences in this episode. The ending was GREAT! The end scene with the walkers and the baby was GREAT.

No episode hating in this thread! Let's just list all of the things that Telltale did well so they could feel something other than guilt from the episode haters.
And all of you Episode 4 haters can go ahead and dislike all you want.

  • Stop with this 'fandom' bullshit. People are allowed to say their opinion no matter good or bad. I really liked the episode. Probably parts I liked some don't like and it's not perfect. Telltale are a large company and their feelings wont be hurt because some people didn't like a product. They most likely don't care and they don't need you to defend them from gasp people's complaints on the internet! Seriously get over it. Not everyone loved it.

  • this episode was ok and it was freaking short like 1 hour and a half

  • I thought it was a great episode. We got a good, decent amount of character development and the scenes all played out really well. And as you mentioned, it was half an hour longer than the others. How come before it was released people kept ranting about wanting longer episodes but when Telltale gives us one all everyone does is complain? I was also happy to see that Rebecca survived the childbirth, rather than some cliché. Admittedly, I did want to name it, but that'll probably happen later.

Telltale did a great job, so let's appreciate it. Roll on episode 5!
