Question about A---

This is a question about Arvo and the Russians. When I met Arvo, I chose to return his supplies to him instead of steal them. But, when Arvo met the group, he said that I robbed him, when I never did and neither did Jane. Is this a game error or was it supposed to happen? If it is correct, then it's pretty confusing

Comments

  • I think it's an error man, some other people had it. I also heard someone say it's because Jane took his gun

  • Maybe Jane... stole supplies anyway? I got that accusation too since I didn't steal from him, so I just assumed Jane somehow took some for herself and they thought we took them.

I think Jane steals his medicine after she leaves the group, or some unknown figure stole it, or Arvo is trying to hide that he failed in his mission.

  • As themadeiramagician pointed out, even if the medical supplies are returned, Jane still keeps his gun. He even says something like "You already left me defenseless...". But since we had two scenes with Arvo, his motivation is unclear.

If he is really referring to the medical supplies another explanation is possible. I mean he tried to hide the medical stuff. This is a bit strange, isn't it? Shouldn't he be taking it to his group? Could be that there are tensions within his group and that he tried to hide the bag from them. Since his gun is already gone, he can tell the guys, that the medical supplies have been stolen, too.

Whatever it is, we'll probably see the conclusion in episode 5. If anybody is still alive.

  • and speaking of errors, did anyone have their choices not show up at the end? Even when i went on "My Choices" afterwards, it only showed choices up to Episode 3.

  • That's a great point, really could be. He didn't seem to have that much control of the guntoters, so could be

  • Arvo lost his shit when he saw they had a baby in Clem's group.

  • Why was he even dumping the medicine in the thrash bin in the first place?

It was probably some kind of agreement, put them in the trash so we can collect them, or they have someone of his and he's using medecine to get them back (sounds familiar).

  • Yeah, now that you've said it it does kind of remind me of a particular ahem gentleman :D
But the way he acted when he was back with his group didn't look like they're enemies, though.

Yeah, cautious allies at the least, I'd guess Arvo using the medicine to solicit their help. Did you see the way his hand shook when pointing the gun at Clem, I don't think he can defend himself very well.

  • Maybe seeing a baby in the group made him to look at them from a different perspective. That they were at least to some extent caring people looking out not just about themselves.

  • I was on PC too, so I guess it's a random problem judging by the other responses

  • Alone, he looked quite vulnerable and submissive. In contrast, the rest of the Russians were threatening and powerful. It doesn't look like he belongs in the group, and is more like an underling than an authority figure in the group.
