What significance will Jane's nail file have (if any)? You could refuse or accept it, so in a way it is determinant, what do you think'll happen with it?

  • Maybe you'll get taken captive by Arvo and his friends and then you can use the nail file to pick the lock of a room your locked in. Or maybe you can hide it so you can sneakily stab someone when they think they've taken all your weapons away.

  • I agree with MrAppleJuice, Arvo's group may kidnap us so then it will come in handy.

  • It's always good to keep souvenirs of someone that died right?

  • Maybe we can do our nails? Sorry, sorry bad joke.

Umm maybe we can use it as a weapon. Possibly the people take their stuff but miss the nail file and she uses it to help escape? Idk just throwing random ideas out there.

If it is the case that we get out with the nail file, then how do the people who refused it get out?

  • I think it's just a reminder of Jane.

  • I am assuming most people took the nail file.

  • If you accept the nail file, Episode 5 will feature a 10 second scene of Clementine using it on her nails and reflecting fondly upon her times with Jane.

  • She will keep spinning it around like Walter did with Matthew's knife

  • Not me. It's a watch trap all over again!

  • It won't be a big thing. It might make a certain QTE a bit easier. Nothing major.

  • I thought you might as well. Anything that can be used as a weapon is useful. And if you refused it, it'd just be kinda awkward.
