Why all the hate?
Season 2 so far has not lived up to the expectations we have set ourselves. Season 1 did a lot better in my opinion being that the protagonist was an adult. Why all the hate though?
I think TellTale is doing a good job working on 4 games at once but, I'd rather quality over quantity. I think TellTale should just work at a minimum of 2 games at once. I think all TellTale is worried about is the profit they gain from their games and not about our opinion or experience. It's sad because TellTale had a great chance to make this game a great game but, I guess the money got into their minds and they started making FOUR games at once. As of now they are making 3 games at once and what do you know, the walking dead game episodes are improving. Maybe if they make another season of The Walking Dead Game, they can look at their mistakes and learn from them.

I personally think the season was good.
Yeah, I really like this season so far. It's definitely not as great as the first season but It's still pretty good. The only downside is that the episodes have been really short, but I hope TellTale can redeem themselves with the final episode.
No matter what people will find a reason to complain about stuff.
Personally i thought this episode was amazing.
I don't know, episode 4 was amazing.
...The choices are getting terrible though, i'm not spoiling it for the people that are going to play the episode again, but some of the changes were fucking ridiculous.
Exactly Violent. Now that I think back, I would have been perfectly fine if they increased the wait between Season 1 and 2 to work on TWAU. If I wanted to play a shitty game made by Telltale, I'd play Jurassic Park. Telltale got their relevance from TWD, basically.
If Telltale keeps fucking up every episode of TWD, I'm sure Telltale is going to lose its audience and slip back into irrelevance again. If it doesn't, it sure as hell will lose me as a paying customer.
I think the hate is ridiculous this season has been amazing and episode 4 is the best episode yet in my opinion.
I like the entire series and the only thing I can complain about was Nick's death this episode, it managed to be even cheaper than Omid's death in episode 1!
I remember seeing some thread two weeks ago or so where someone addressed all the complaints of Season 2 and rebutted them (even mentioning that hubs don't aid character development)
Can I have a link?
It's kind of hard to redeem yourself all in one episode, especially the last one. If the ending is SPECTACULAR then I will praise TellTale, if not, I'll lose all respect for them.
Because this season is really fucking uneven. I didn't even hate this latest episode, but it really just hit me that it just doesn't feel like TellTale has a plan for what's going on. It's just a string of random occurrences and shock deaths that are shocking for their own sake. Even the shocking deaths in season 1 served purposes and fit where the story was at that you could believe everything was transpiring at a logical pace. This season? Shit just happens because it happens. You could argue that that's realistic to how things would be in an end of the world scenario, and I wouldn't disagree, but I would say that from a narrative standpoint, that just sounds like a justification for poor writing and unrealized potential.
Fuck, season 4 from the damn TV show had way better planning than TWDG's second season, because at least you could very clearly see the motivations of characters that paid off later on down the line in a fulfilling way (Tyreese and Carol's story, Lizzie's sickness, Hershel's influence on Rick, Michonne's development, Bob and Sasha's growing trust and respect for one another despite a difference in worldviews, etc.). I wish I could say the same for this season, but I can't.
Agreed. This has been one solid season so far.
