Yeah, Sarah's story was ended in a really lazy way. Through the first 3 episodes Sarah's story arc was presented as one of the main this season along with Rebecca having a baby and Kenny vs Luke. It was all set-up for something big with her character: how she finally faced brutality of this world in Carver's camp and then how she watched her father die. We had a great set-up and instead of a pay-off Telltale were like "Nope, we're done with her". They abruptly ended her story, though there was much left to tell. I don't know,

I really liked the episode, but it is the 1st time I'm that unhappy with how deaths were handled. Waste of Sarah's story potential and Nick... Don't even get me started on Nick. If they planned from the beginning to have Nick die without saying a word in episode 4 then why keep him alive in episode 3 in the first place? Just to show that not all determinant characters died episode after their determinant deaths? I would much rather have Nick die in episode 3 but with a proper send-off not this off-screen BS.

  • Sarah's death just pissed me off. Not only because I saved her, by having to slap her (man, that was awful to have to do), only to have her die later regardless, but she had nothing significant for her character development. A lot of people hated Sarah's character, and with the death of Carlos at the end of episode 3, I was hoping this would be the time for her character get some development and give a chance for people to warm up to her, but all we got was her sitting in the corner of the museum for the whole episode before falling to her death at the hands of walkers. Like wtf. What was even the point of her character in the end then? I was hoping they'd expand more on her friendship with Clementine, and after that whole speech about Lee my Clem gave her, I was hoping she'd come around and start surviving, but no they wasted that epic mention of Lee the moment Sarah was devoured by those walkers. I didn't have high hopes of Sarah surviving the season, but I was hoping they'd give us something good for her character before she was finally killed off. I didn't feel anything when she died other than disappointment because I couldn't save her. Nick's death was also a huge disappointment for me, not only did he die offscreen, but he didn't even do anything of significance before he died. This episode was just full of disappointing deaths where I don't feel like I care anymore, even though I liked said characters a lot going into this episode... I wasn't able to feel anything when they died.

  • The pinky swear didnt mean shit anyway! Even if you chose not to be friends with her in ep1, regardless they are still acting like friends by ep4. None of our choices gsve mattered this season. That is the only upsetting thing. That and episode lengths

  • Agreed, they were killed off too easily. They really deserved more.

Nick and Sarah's deaths were both upsetting and disappointing, which... honestly in my opinion has some unfortunate implications. These were

  • You are spot on. I also gave her the Lee speech, which I also feel was for nothing despite the brilliant significance and potential it gave.
