EP4 was another 90 min

Was anyone else game play different in regards to time? I find with the lacks no large hubs, descent puzzles, and room to explore freely the episode time are much more shorter. Right now TWDS2 is on pace to provide 7.5 hours of gameplay. That us far short compared to previous TTG games,

Season 1 provided 12 hours of game play on average. That's is 5 hours of missing game play.

  • I actually thought Ep 4 was the longest of the Season so far. Maybe it's just because I like to take my time and go slow

  • That is what I was wondering about. It seemed to take longer than usual, but I also like to reflect on previous episodes during playthroughs of new content, so it is hard to say. It still felt longer, though.

  • Dude really another one? Anyways...I beat the episode in 105 minutes 15 minutes longer then the last episode

  • The fans have been complaining about shorter episodes for a while, it's no use anymore, right now telltale seem more focused on releasing and announcing multiple titles rather than spend the time needed to flesh each episode out, a good example of this is walking dead season 1 which took me about 14 hours.

  • I have been very critical of season 2. But this episode was not 90 minutes for me anyway. I believe mine was 1 hour and 50 minutes. Was it 2 hours? No, but it's a step in the right direction. 1 Hour and 50 minutes - 2 hours is the sweet spot.

  • Another legth complain?

Episode 4 felt really long to me, i couldn't care less about the time i took to complete it.

I don't know how they could add 5 hours of gameplay in this Season, the pacing is diferent, this Season is diferent. I don't like short episodes either, but i don't see a way to make them longer without it feeling forced.

After episode 2 confirmed my suspicion that every episode was going to be ridiculously short, I have played in fear not because I am dreading the consequences of my "choices", but because I know that the episode could end at any time, regardless of how unnatural the stopping point is. Hell, I was expecting the episode to end as soon as the camera panned to show Rebecca's baby. That's how little faith I have in Telltale to provide episodes of a satisfying length.

  • Started the game at 11:30 PM and finished at 1am. It took me 90 mins. Maybe I rushed but it certainly was not 2 hours.

  • I'm pleased to say that episode length was not one of the issues I had with Amid The Ruins. If it was the same length as In Harm's Way, it sure as hell didn't feel like it.

took me 110 minutes i think that is what my current session timer said on steam and i didn't pause it or anything so idk but i'm happy with the length it felt like it was longer than the other episodes

  • i beat it in 1 hour and 40 minutes. Clicked everything there is to click and even went through all dialogue choices that Jane could give me at the observation deck.

  • I managed to beat it in almost two hours, because whenever I play an Episode I click on everything and try to talk with the characters as much as possible.
