Sarita
It kind of irked me that we really didn't get to talk to her. For the popular choice of cutting off her arm, after watching the trailer last week, it got me worried that Sarita would just die there and then. She did of course and that was sad.
But the real problem was with the other choice. After getting one chance to comfort her, you never get to talk to her again. Even when she was dying with Kenny, you cannot talk to her. WHY? Sarita cared for Clementine and she didn't even get a chance to say goodbye to Sarita, all the dialogue was about Kenny Kenny Kenny. "Kenny, are you okay?" "Kenny, don't be mad." PSST! And it's not even like Sarita couldn't hear them talk, she was still conscious for crying out loud. And they're talking like she isn't there (she isn't in the popular choice).
I frankly think this is just laziness on Telltale's part. I have been defending every accusation and hate against Telltale but this I can't. Sarita was just a character to make Kenny more hurt. That part couldn't have made it clearer. The fact that they didn't even bother giving her a proper chance of a send-off with Clementine just because it would take more work for the dialogue parts to change. Geez. Just why?! They could've easily added an option for Clementine to tell Kenny that she was there for Sarita and not him, or a dialogue to sorry to Sarita and not KENNY! LIKE OMG. Why sorry to Kenny, SORRY TO SARITA!!!! <

It's because Kenny's grief was more apparently important to Telltale than Sarita's own suffering. It's as you say, she's serves to make Kenny more miserable than ever.
I can understand that some characters are only there to develop another character, but I still think that sucks :c
