  • I think he's still the same guy but we definitely saw a new side of him in this episode, especially with the whole Luke/Jane thing. I completely didn't expect that. We know Luke usually thinks logically and strategically and tries to help the group in any way he can but in this moment when Jane "offered" he started thinking with his dick and they fouled around at a bad time.

I think that was dumb and a little selfish of both of them seeing as how if they wanted to do it or "feel human again" then they should have done it when the group didn't need them.

My opinion still hasn't changed too much on either one of them. I still think Luke's a good guy and I did like his sibling relationship with Clem. I still wasn't sure what to think of Jane and her nature with Clem but she was levelling with Clem this episode and we saw her as a good person who would potentially part from the group if she needed to. Both have made dumb mistakes but I understand them and even if they shouldn't have done them, it happened, it was a mistake, everyone makes them.

I agree, personally I think the way Telltale twisted his personality was just too forced, I mean, seriously, if i came up with a theory on July 21 that:

Jane was going to invite Luke for some sexy time while he was supposed to be securing the perimeter and the group was being chased by walkers, and that he would accept, just who the hell would believe that? It would sound absurd based on what we've seen from both of these characters until now: Jane wouldn't risk herself by stopping to have sex and possibly get pregnant; and Luke...LUKE, who f***ing chased a truck without eating or sleeping for god-knows-how-many days just to try and rescue his friends couldn't possibly forget his duty and leave the others for dead, right? RIGHT?

Sadly, no, the people we thought we knew just keep getting their personalities changed like outdoors have their ads switched. The writer(s) for ep4 didn't really pay attention to the characterization (both through dialogue and action) from previous episodes, at least that's my guess.

At best case scenario, there is some hidden reasonable explanation to these sudden flips of personality, but I think we'll never know, cause guess what? we can't f***ing talk to the characters about their feelings and/or pasts!
