So..... Story rewritten? Concerning the EP 4 Slide

Amid the Ruins had many hyped up about it due to it's very strange and creepy episode select slide. It has a very ritualistic feel to it, and seemed to show that Clementine would go through a big change, due to her having no hat and the blood/warpaint. Also, it was determined that nearly all if the shadowy figures were placeholders, except for the extremely clear Eddie, and Vince was there too, though that may have been a placeholder as well. This begs the question: Was Amid the Ruins rewritten? If so, what would it had been? I guess we'll never know....

    Perhaps Eddie was replaced by Arvo. We'd find Eddie, and we could rob him or not. Then his group (probably not Russians) would come out, and the shoot-out would begin.

    This could just be metaphorical. There was a lot of death in this episode, and Clem's inability to prevent any of them may imply she fells as if their blood is on her hands, hence the blood being smeared on her cheeks in the slide.

    Either that, or it's referencing how Clem and the others escaped Camp Carver by rubbing zombie blood on their faces. It's still an awesome slide, even if it makes little sense in relation to the actual episode.

    Yeah the slide was really misleading. Eddie is clearly visible on the slide. I was expecting his glorious comeback and then we'd all Tom Cruise outta here.

    That seems plausible. Though, it would have been helpful to the Eddie fans who were dying for him to return to replace his figure on the background. I mean, they've done it before.

    I think it wasn't planned as metaphorical, but I believe it can be taken as such, albeit being a bit misleading to the episode.

    There are two possibilities the way I see it.Either the story was rewritten like you said(And I'd be very disappointed if it'd be like that)or,the slide for episode 4 is foreshadowing episode 5(even if that sounds silly,I think it may happen)

    Foreshadowing can be possible. Also, I noticed that going over to episode 5 now is silent. No music at all. Really eerie

    I assume that Eddie would appear in Episode 5. I mean, Episode 3 has a picture of Rebecca, and it looks like she's supposed to give birth. It happened in Episode 4 though, so yeah. I could be wrong though. It probably 'was' rewritten.

    I believe that this can happen in the last episode because Rebbeca was shown on the slide for episode 3 having the baby when she didn't and episode 4 she did so maybe it is metaphorical but its just my thoughts.
