My Problems With Episode 4

This episode was pretty good, but it had some huge problems. For starters, none of the choices you made changed the Episode. Sarah ends up dying no matter what, Letting the group rest before moving only changes the dialogue, and calling for help instead of shooting Rebecca just has Kenny shoot her, with the same ending following closely after. It doesn't matter if you steal or don't steal the medicine, Alvo and his friends appear anyways. If it's an interactive story, based on YOUR decisions, why can't we change the outcome? I realize that you can only change it to a certain extent, but I want more than what I was given. Next Sarah is just killed off. I didn't like her much, but even I can see that the way they just killed her off is horrible. They were trying to prove that you can't save everyone, which could've been cool, but the deck just falls out and she just so happened to be standing there. Really Telltale? That couldn't have been the best you could do. Lastly, and my biggest problem, they just had Jane leave. Jane was an amazing character, probably one of my favorites in the season, hell in the whole series, and she just leaves. I already made a seperate post about her so I don't want to rant too much, but it really pisses me off. What do you guys think about the problems I had? Do you agree with me?

  • Somewhat agree. They made Jane WAY too much like Molly (backstory, attitude, how she leaves) and the choices kind of sucked. Nick and Sarah's deaths didn't further the plot and overall the episode wasn't written very well. The whole civil war museum was a great time to bring Christa in, but they seem to have neglected that. Overall it was a let down, but not as bad as All That Remains was.

  • Same, just like Molly left too. I really liked her..=/
