The Walking Dreams
Have you ever had Walking Dead dreams? I tend to have a few (here's a topic I made for Episode 3 when I had one) and I've had two for Amid the Ruins so far, but I'll just copy-paste my most recent one. My apologies for the wording, I was explaining it to a friend and I'm too lazy to rewrite it with proper grammar and such. Also, my apologies if a topic like this has been made before. I didn't see one.
Instead of Clem just watching as Sarah runs off, she chases after her and doesn't realize Luke and Nick are following too, she's just trying not to lose Sarah. (It cut here briefly to show Kenny killing the walker that had Sarita and running off with Mike trying to keep up, and Bonnie finding Rebecca and them finding Jane)
So Clem's calling out for Sarah and manages to catch up outside the fence where she kills the three walkers nearby (Sarah still drops her glasses)
And then Sarah makes her beeline for the trailer and Clem follows. She locks the door and Sarah huddles herself in a corner and Clem tries calming her down (without the yelling like Luke)
Then the walkers start banging on the door and Sarah freaks and runs to the room with the skylight and Clem follows and keeps trying to calm her down and just tell her stories she's been through and the sorrows she faced with with Lee and Duck and etc
Then she hears the horn and tells Sarah to stay where she is and grabs the crate to peek out the window at the top of the door and sees Nick and Luke coming out of the other trailer. She opens the door and lets em in.
"S-Shit. Thought we lost you... Where's Sarah?"
"She's in the other room. She's not doing okay... Nick, you're hurt!"
"It's nothin', I'm fine."
"Fine, my ass, Nick. We gotta get outta here as fast as we can and... oh shit."
The horn stopped and they can hear the walkers shambling back to the trailer.
"Is there a back door to this thing?"
"It's a trailer, Nick! Thing's only got one door in and out!"
So they block the door with the dresser and head back to the room with Sarah, and Nick sees the skylight. Luke tries to lift up Clem to open it but fails cuz of his ribs. Nick tries and can't cuz of his shoulder. They both then just pick her up and she gets it open and Luke and Nick grab Sarah and lift her to Clem. Then I forget who lifted who up BUT THEY ALL GOT OUT ANYWAY sweet
So they're trying to find their way to the ruins and Clem apologizes to Sarah about her glasses, to which Nick jumps a little and takes them out of his back pocket. Sarah doesn't say much.
Luke and Nick briefly argue about something but I don't remember what it was
They manage to find the ruins and then the thing skipped forward to the observatory deck when Rebecca's giving birth
So Clem and Nick and Luke try moving the cannon, and it breaks the deck and Sarah falls while Luke grabs onto Jane. Nick jumps down immediately and starts shooting the closer walkers before trying to get to Sarah, and Luke's screaming at him and Jane's yelling at Nick to just let Sarah go because there's no saving her and Sarah's screaming for help
So I guess there was a choice to help Luke lift up Jane or Help Nick with Sarah there but OBVIOUSLY CLEM JUMPED DOWN GOOD CLEM
She shoots a couple more of the closer walkers and Nick ignores his shoulder as he lifts up the planks and Clem pulls Sarah out and they bolt up the stairs as Nick starts to follow. A walker tries to get him and they fall to the ground. Clem tries to shoot it but she's out of bullets so she has a choice to run over and stab it or keep going up the stairs
SO SHE TELLS SARAH TO KEEP GOING AND RUNS OVER and smacks the walker in the face with the axe and Nick jumps up and they bolt again. They make it to the deck and close the gate before someone comments that they're climbing up and Luke suggests dropping the restof the deck
So they do that and then Nick looks down and pats his head and Luke pats his shoulder cuz he lost his hat
"...Uncle Pete gave that to me."
"I know, man. I know."
So there's the thing with the baby
N things
And Nick kinda gets on Luke's case for the Jane thing the next morning and Luke gets mad at him because "you woulda done the same damn thing, Nick!"
So blahblahblah they're walkin in the snow to the nearby town and Sarah and Clem are just walking close to Nick
And then the thing happens and I forget who shoots Rebecca but Nick grabs Clem and Sarah and brings em to the ground and shields them
Then the gunfire stopped and he whispers to them not to move and Sarah's crying and saying she's cold and Nick's like 'I know. Just try not tomove. We gotta wait a second."
and that's where it ends
So how about you guys? Ever had any Walking Dead dreams? c:
(I also had a dream where Daryl and Merle from the show came across Ben's school before it got overrun by bandits and stayed a couple of days and somehow ended up leaving with Ben when the bandits did attack, but that's neither here nor there.)
Comments
I had a really cool dream before Episode 3 was released:
Clementine tries to escape Howe's Hardware by climbing up the shelves like with the game Catherine (moving boxes, stacking them together, et cetera). Carver, naturally, gets pissed and tries to catch her, but she escapes. Carver goes to his room and sulks like a big baby. Me being the Milton of Howe's, I check up on him, where he tells me that he plans to catch Clem. As he goes and talks with a helicopter pilot from Oklahoma (how that's relevant... IDK), I discover Clem hiding in the air ducts. I let her leave, and I decide to rescue Kenny and the others to race Carver to find Clementine. We maneuver to a mountain top pagoda, full of traps, where some crazy black suicide bomber tries to blow us up. I fight her and kill her without getting my ass blown up. After that, I get separated from the group at a swamp. There I try to fend off Carver's troops and the walkers. After I do that, I make it to a meadow with a brick building. I meet up with some IRL friends (which are few in number :P), and we decide to fight Carver's men, who show up Woodbury-style in a tank. We fight them to the best of our ability, as I see Clem running with Rebecca. The group gets scared shitless, except for me and Kenny, and we end up surrendering. Carver comes inside and beats the living shit out of Kenny and me. Carver's men in a jeep capture Clem, and I get furiously pissed off, especially when they use a rope to rein her in. Carver orders one of his men to kill us all, but I miraculously recover from my injuries and kill the soldier. I fix Kenny up and get the rest of the group ready to fight back....
THE END
Two which stick out.
So I'm staring at a tree from slightly above it as if I were seeing it from the third floor of a building, it's this beautiful old oak without a single leaf on it. Time seems sped up a bit the whole time. Grass grow in cracks on the road, the smell of burning tyres. The tall buildings that I can see behind the tree start to fall into disrepair. And all the while people drift past, some screaming, others crying, a few make camp but that's interrupted with screams that sometimes end abruptly. Then it goes silent for a long time, not once do I ever see a zombie, and all I hear is the wind. Then another group rushes past but unlike all the others I see them in greater detail and colour. What I see is a purplish top on a girl with a hat, for a little while I'm happy but slowly fear starts to creep in because that group is afraid. Something is coming after them and that's where I wake up.
The other doesn't have a character from twd but it felt terrifyingly real.
There is a group of us at an intersection, 3 on the left side of the street, 4 on the right. We're standing behind a barricade of cars but in the middle of the street is enough space for 1 car to squeeze through. The left has an overturned pickup, specifically a Toyota, next to it standing normal is some sort of sedan. I'm standing behind the pickup and as I look down at the assault rifle (some AK looking thing) the wind blows a cold wind that cuts through my clothes, pretty normal for winter here. I know the city we are in and I feel afraid, looking to my left one of the guys smiles weakly. Across the street the guy closest to me has an open mid thigh jacket that catches the wind. None of these people are anyone I recognise, my brother isn't here, now I start to feel a bit of terror, I know I'll never see him again. It's at this point that I realise that they are paying attention to me, for some reason I'm leading them and we're buying time so that others can escape. I mouth the words "You know why we're here" but don't hear it, we all know that we're going to die but we stay put. So much dust hangs in the air that I can feel how it's making everything kinda gritty. Through that dust ahead of us it's coming, it doesn't have to move fast because it has all the time in the world to slowly hunt us. It never tires, it never sleeps, it doesn't get blisters on it's feet to slow it down. It's relentless and the thought makes my hands shake. I hear a guy to my right openly sob a bit. The terror keeps building and we keep waiting for them to come but they don't need to rush. We're going to die here, die in the worst possible way. The terror builds till it's overwhelming, as if my whole mind is screaming.
I wake up at that moment still in terror, my heart racing and almost begging that it won't happen. There was so much detail that I left out, it stayed with me for the next two days which is very unusual for me. Only dream I've ever woken to that made me scared, not even the nightmares in my childhood left me as terrified.
