Did you shoot her? (MASSIVE SPOILERS)

edited July 2014 in The Walking Dead

Hello, forum users! I just finished up the new episode a few minutes ago, and I was wondering if you shot Rebecca? I did. She was a walker (how she became a walker, I don't know), and I wasn't gonna let her eat the baby! XD But anyway, for those of you who didn't shoot her, what happens? Does the shootout still occur? Thanks, guys. :)

  • I shot her too, but I went on YouTube to see what happens if you choose to get help, Clem yells for help and Kenny shoots Rebecca then the same thing happens...

  • I shot her.

Too many people in this episode dies already, I didn't want to lose the baby too.

  • Thanks, man. :)

  • The baby lit my heart up! And I would rather have the baby over Rebecca...XD

i panicked and i shot her,she was pale, eyes were like that, and she made a rrrrraahh sound.my brain automatically said "ZOMBIE DIE"

  • If you call for help, Kenny shoots her immediately with a super-straight face.

  • I'm happy I shot her then. Clem can handle herself! XD

  • Same here. I wasn't about to let that zom zom rip that baby's poor face off! XD

  • I shot her on my first playthrough and called for help on the second to see how it plays out, but I think I'll shoot her for my canon playthrough going into the finale. I wasn't super concerned about the baby, tbh, it was more that Clem knows you need to put down people that turn, it's the last thing you can do for them.

  • Rebecca was showing symptoms of turning shortly after the birth of the baby--coughing, exhaustion, pale skin. No one paid attention due what happened earlier, and being focused on the baby.

  • I kinda didn't realize she was turning at first so I called for help. If I ever do another playthrough though I'd shoot her myself.

  • I didn't shoot her since I figured the shot would provoke people into shooting each other. Also, I hoped that saying something might get people to focus elsewhere.

I shot her, I thought if I shouted, it might stir Rebecca up. I knew Rebecca was gone, and I was not gonna let that baby die.

  • I honestly thought that the zombified Rebecca was going to eat her own child, to Clementine's horror

  • I yelled for help because i thought if i yell then everyone would come together, save the baby, and become buddies.

Yeah, that was pretty much my intended outcome as well. My reaction to the actual outcome:

  • I shot her. As soon as I realized that Arvo's buddies had us surrounded and couldn't speak English, I knew a gunfight was inevitable because the groups couldn't communicate properly. Hell, it probably would have happened anyway. I just accepted that and shot Rebecca to save the baby without being at all surprised about the outcome.

  • Yeah but then people might blame Clem in episode 5 for the shootout

  • Yep. I wasn't sure if it would work, but since Arvo was already showing concern that there was a baby, I thought maybe pointing out the zombie holding the baby would do the trick.

  • I shot her. It definitely was a "oh shit" moment for me. I saw her turning and my first thought was protect the baby.

  • I agree, though I feel like the minority in the community when I think the baby has to go before it becomes a problem. I don't feel great about thinking this way though so don't get me wrong I don't morally approve of abandonment or anything.
