Just quit while you're at it. *SEASON 2 EP. 4 SPOILERS8

How do I start? Pointless deaths, almost no character development, bad options, etc. I was disappointed with this episode, and I'll tell you why. I'll start with characters.

Sarita had room for so much in this season. She wasn't acknowledged much from anyone except Kenny, and I wish they did things with her. Instead, like Mark, she was used as a filler for a death, and they didn't want to risk any big characters. Like Mark, she was made to be killed, unlike most characters. Telltale tricks you into thinking you saved her or you killed her, killing the zombie was the bad thing. To be truthful, it was the better option. Unless you want a non-emotional sequence where you can kill her, this scene didn't live up to what it could be. Also, she wasn't even in pain! If my hand was chopped off, I would scream and fall on the floor crying my eyes out. "AAAAAAAH you... you... AHHHHH" thats it. Then she dies. I chopped the zombie and was satisfied with the ending of Sarita, apart from having limited and bad options with Kenny. I wanted to yell at him, but I didn't know which one could. I went random.

Don't get me started with Jane. She is probably the best developed character in Season 2 to date, and she made me feel sad when she told me about her sister. I felt like I could relate. Then she went and slept with Luke and left. I wanted to go with her before the responsible lady Jane had some adult play time with Luke.

Luke used to be amazing. He was a good guy, wanting to help out. He was a guy who didn't really need character development, as much as I wanted him to get it. He liked Clementine and he had a heart. Then it hardened as he yelled at Sarah and barely cared about Nick's death. I never liked him after episode 2, after he failed to save the group, but then he slept with Jane, and now I hate him. I personally didn't want sex to be apart of the game, and I trusted them after Lee and Carley didn't do the naughty and they barely made any relationship apart from a cheek kiss. "hey guyz, I know wht will sell. Jane and Luke mmmmmm"

Nick made me the most disappointed. LEAVE HIM ON A FENCE OK BOOM THERE WE GO. I understand his death in one of the earlier episodes, I was like "nuuu" but this was so stupid. No sad death scene, nobody cares about him. They never talked about it. Rebecca cared though, but who cares right lets kill off the only person who likes Nick! :)

Rebecca was also pointless. She is pregnant so lets cause conflict with her death! GREAT! I really think she made a good character, who wasn't developed, but a good idea. She had emotion and was the only person who cared about others, without being insanely in love with them.

Kenny should die. He had promise in the beginning of the season, but now he should die in that horrible-ending gun fight. He has went from aggressive to a dick, and I hope he isn't the main protagonist in Season 3. I do hope it changes though. Anyways, the way he reacted to Clementine was nothing like he should have. If anyone else did it he would've reacted the same way. Which shouldn't happen.

A GOOD OL' SLAP IN THE FACE FOR SARAH EVERY EPISODE FOR GOOD LUCK. Nobody cares after she dies in both ways, and her death wasn't even sad! OR CARED FOR! Nobody cared after she died. No cries or sad faces. Just ok shes dead. wat.

Mike and Bonnie were decent, but were more useless than anything. I like Mike's attitude though. He's funny.

Now I'll talk about the story. The story was pretty much of them finding eachother, a dick competition between Luke and Kenny (Jane really noticed Luke's, though.), pointless deaths, emotionless survivors, and plot holes. Let me talk about the ending.

In the end, Arvo, the Russian dude, turned out to be lying about the sister thing, THEY PULLED A BONNIE. They did it again. Anyways, he comes to ask for bandages, until his team comes out and threatens to take revenge for robbing them by stealing their supplies. On my game, I didn't even rob the guy. I let him have his crap, and then he still says we robbed him. Major plot hole there, and then Rebecca died to start the war. great.

TL:DR it had so much potential but instead they used it all on Jane, who ends up doing a quickie and leaving for good.

  • Oh god shut up already. There are too many threads like that already.

  • Still room for more. My opinion is allowed to be said, no rule against it.

  • You presented many problems, but no solutions. How can it be fixed?

  • You could've used the haters "Shame on you, Telltale" thread where everybody describes why TWD S2 is the worst game ever.

  • As much as I disliked the episode, I second this question.

  • I actually thought about this. I don't know how it can be fixed, but then again, I'm not a writer. I right fiction sometimes, but my job is not to write scripts. Somebody learning how to script write most likely learned how to fix problems.

One thing I know isn't hard is to stop with the pointless death and to spread the character development. They should not just keep it to Jane. Also, make somebody Clementine gets attached to. She isn't an emotionless bot (Well she is, but you get my point). So far nothing sad has happened. Also, they should stop tricking us. A trailer is giving us a small peak of what is gonna happen, not a "HURP THE IMPORTANT QUESTION WASNT EVEN AN IMPORTANT THING IN THE GAME WOOPS".

  • Or I could've made a new one, which I did.

  • That's a start. Hooray for constructive criticism!

  • Hmm... I ain't much of a script-writer, but I could try my hand with that. Probably tomorrow, though. I'd need to think things out and shit

  • As I said, too many threads like this already. It's unneeded and unnecessary.

  • Go for it. Writing is fun to me.

  • Alright, like I said, sometime tomorrow. I might make a thread for it.
