Would this be better with Arvo?
Okay so do you guys think this would be better?
If you choose to take the meds or if you choose to let Rebecca rest for a few days. Rebecca will feel and appear better and won't die. Arvo's group will see they have a baby, and will run away but leave Arvo alone (since he cannot move fast due to his disability). Clementine then has a gun pointed to him, whilst he's on the floor looking up at her. The music gets tense, and either Kenny or Luke ask Clementine what she's going to do. Then it shows the choices.
Either [Spare Arvo], [Let Him Join The Group], or [Kill Arvo]. Similar to the end of Episode 4, you make a choice and it cuts to black without showing the outcome which will be saved for the next episode.
If you do not choose to take the meds or do not rest for a few days, Rebecca will die and Arvo will still blame Clementine for robbing their things. Then the actual ending to the episode will commence.
The reason for this is, it'd be a trick. Players would feel that making the "morally good" choice will ensure the safety of the group. However it may (if they choose not to rest) end up with characters dead because of what they did, even if it was good. It'd also drive the point that in order to survive, sometimes you have to do evil things.

Too much choices and this actually requires for choices to matter sooooo this isn't possible. But it would've been better than what telltale has done.
Hm yeah I guess. Sorry I was just wondering if there was a way to make players feel more betrayed because of this.
I just have a couple of nitpicks.
1 - Why would the russian group run away just because they have a baby?
2 - I don't see a reason to kill Arvo honestly, and i'm sure he won't be that exited about joining the group. Besides, i can't imagine Clem killing a defensless guy running away.
3 - This makes robbing Arvo the ''right'' choice, in my opinion, there has to be a downside in every decision you make.
Other than that, this seems like a reasonable change in the game.
Well I wouldn't say it'd be nit-picking.
1 - In the Russian translation thread it was clear some of the Russians felt scared near the end of the episode. So them seeing a baby may make one of them overwhelmed with fear and guilt, and just well "running away from their problems".
2 - Some people may want to kill Arvo for what he's done, and plus it also shows that Clementine has lost her humanity if people do so. Also him joining the group is there so he and Clementine can forgive each other, and form a friendship. Which he'll either eventually die or survive with Clementine depending on your choices.
3 - There are no right or wrong choices in 'The Walking Dead' it's all down to perspective. But since robbing Arvo gives you the most benefit, it's meant to be confusing and there to make players question their morality, the mortality of characters and the world around them. They may also redeem themselves by either letting Arvo into the group or sparing him.
