Your game experience will differ from someone elses's

For all the people whining about the choices leading to the same results...What do you expect!? I dare you play the last season and tell me that your choices mattered just as much! In Episode 2 handing out food gave you the illusion of choice it was a hard decision but Guess what...After that scene. Your choice is never mentioned again. This game series doesn't focus on MASSIVE outcomes it focuses on your interactions with the characters. For example if you don't cut off Sarita's arm you get a different outcome and even some different dialouge choices you wouldn't have even gotten if you chopped off her arm. I will say this deciding to leave imediately or waiting a couple days was pretty much pointless but despite that your decisions do have a affect on the story they may be small touches but they definitely alter your experience from someone else's.

More examples - If you hold back Sarita in Episode 3. Clementine won't have a bruise on her face.
Refuse to go through the shutter in episode 4. Bonnie will get attacked instead.

They are small touches but your experience will almost always differ from someone else's playthrough.

Comments

  • I played through episode 4 and felt bad about, but then I watched other peoples' playthroughs and now I see it in a different perspective :p

  • Exactly for instance.. I didn't get the option to axe Sarita because I convinced Kenny to leave her, You change the experience of you and your companions around you and how they view you.. Arvo said I was kind because i didn't steal from him when his gang showed up.. for others he said i wish it could of turned out different if you stole from him.
