Why did arvo hide his bag full of medicine in a trash ?
I think there is 2 options : this scene was just here to introduce the character .... Or maybe there is something bigger than the russians group ... Maybe this was a tribute to have the protection of a bigger group like Negan's crew in the comic ...

Honestly thats why I think hes probably alive so he can explain all that, if not it may be forshadowing.
good idea. The only other thing I can think of was maybe that he was hiding the medicine from the rest of his group so only he knew where it was and he could use it for himself.

Pretty sure Arvo was being that group's Ben at that point. Probably even giving medicine to another bandit group.
Won't be surprised. Actually, would be, because I don't expect it to be that predictable.
