Player morals vs survival

The great thing I'm missing in TWD is the real aspect of survivng and having more "gray" not "black and white" choices. For example the choice about stealing meds from Arvo. Some people maybe didn't steal from him out of compassion but I bet there were people (like me) who just thought "it won't probably matter so I'll just be nice to him".

Maybe if there was some "You are starving/ill" notification and if you don't eat or take meds that you first need to steal - you die. Like you have let's say 3 opportunities to get food and you need 2 of them to survive. You'd actually choose when you need it and when to play nice. Simple as that and it would greatly change the morals of some players.

Or even more simple things - if you don't take meds Rebecca dies in observation deck (yeah she would still die later but at the moment you'd honestly feel guilty for a while).
