I know the white knights will defend absolutely anything (heck, look at the nazi party ffs), in their ignorance they will only just show how flawed their thinking is with equally flawed retorts, and making this post wont change anything but it needs to be said.
It was legitimately a dick move in season 2 episode 4 to portray russians in that way. Considering the characters just came from a crappy pro-amerifan museum, the whole scenario just reeked of "lets take advantage of all the mosguided russian hatred and make our new villains russians too"
Real frikkin classy TTG, its one thing to make your choices not mean squat, but to take advantage of political manipulation to tell your story? Unforgivable. I already have the season pass and if you are seriously going down this route to the end of this season then you've lost yourself a customer.
Cheap story-telling tactics, of which you do through negative portrayal of another nationality, and dont lie and say it doesnt matter, the stupid museum was a dead giveaway.

I kind of agree with you, in that it was cheap story telling and a little questionable to have their suddenly be a group of somewhat stereotypical Russian thugs descending on the group, but, dude, bringing a Nazi comparison into anything is never a good idea or helpful to your case. And secondly, a civil war museum is hardly some chest-thumping, fuck yeah 'murica thing, it's a memorial to a dark ass time in the country's history. I don't see the connection there at all.
I dont get it, Arvo was just like Ben in season 1 and after all the bandits we've seen I dont see why some being russian is so bad, if there bandits as they seem to think theyve been robbed

I think you seem to forget that not only americans live in america, unless you didn't already know that. also why are a lot of people getting butthurt over a different ethnicity of people attacking the group? no one seemed to care for the past 10 episodes (including 400 days) that we have had pretty much all american villains lol, no one got pissed over that.

sure they tried to rob you of your shit, but so what. If you watch that scene with Russian subtitles it becomes clear that not all of them even wanted to rob you and things get out of hand because of simple miscommunication, Arvo being the only one speaking english and all.
