What is there to say? Shes dead, I liked her and all and felt protective, but she died. And for many other people they liked her but not that much of an extent or even actively disliked her.
Lee said in season 1 "There's nothing to say, its horrible". I mean Carley,Doug,Mark. etc were never brought up again. Its hurts the people in the world to much to think about it.

I honestly thought you were talking about Christa. But why Sarah?
Me as Clementine were nice to her, we were a bit suspicious of her in 'All That Remains' however after 'A House Divided' we were inseparable. Then we helped get her out of that mobile home. We got Jane to try and help her when the deck collapsed, but she died. Nothing more to say but to just move on.

... when? oh you mean that once in dialogue with ben.
Sarah's had more than that already with the last talk with Jane on the balcony and if you leave her there is tons of dialogue to her, more than most other characters. Not that I'm saying leaving her is better.
Actually, the Stranger makes references to either Carley or Doug, depending on who you saved first. Then in Season 2, when talking to Alvin in A House Divided, Clementine makes a reference to Lilly shooting either Carley or Doug.

What happened to Sarah was horrible, I have a feeling that Telltale decided to kill her so quickly because there were many people who hated her character, which to this day I still don't understand. I've seen people laugh while she was being killed by the walkers, how could anyone be that cold hearted ?!
There is absolutely no reason to hate her, she helps you in episode 1, she defends you everytime, she never did anything wrong. Even Ben from season 1 didn't get that much hate when he got several people killed. And it doesn't make any sense for Clementine to abandon Sarah, remember when in season one the group wanted to ditch Ben, Clem said something like "Ben is my friend. We don't leave friends behind".
Anyway, she was one of my favorite characters and I'm glad that my Clem was always nice to her and never gave up on her until the very end.
I'm not gonna lie, I certainly don't understand the recent wave of love for Sarah. I seem to remember when the first two episodes were released that people constantly wished for her death, what changed?
In my opinion, Sarah's character was a gamble from the beginning...one that didn't payed off. Were there other plans with her character at first? Probably, but that wasn't the case, her death was inevitable.

I'm not one of those people. I liked her from the beginning, TBH.

please dont massively down vote me but why do you like Sarah so much at first i thought she was ok but after episode 2 she just annoyed the hell out of me?
This is just a guess, but it might be similar to how many people responded to Duck in Season 1; I know lots of Let's Players and other people SAID they wanted him dead, but you could tell how upset they were when he actually died. I found her annoying, in the same way I found Duck annoying, but it's still sad to see a reasonably-interesting (if irksome) character die, especially a child.
If you mean that Telltale might have had other plans for her then I agree; all of that stuff about teaching her to shoot and promising to be friends went pretty much nowhere, so I have to believe that Telltale changed at least part of the script and were left with this character whose story arc they couldn't develop and who they couldn't keep around, so they decided to kill her off.

What did she do exactly that annoyed you ? I'm trying really hard to understand the point of view of those who hate her and I find it really difficult. People say she was a liability but imagine if Lee thought that when he found Clementine. She was a little girl after all, she could be seen as a liabilty too. He could have chosen to not go save her when she was kidnapped, he would have stayed safe. But no, he gave his life for her, to protect her, to make her stronger.Clem could have made Sarah stronger too, the same way Lee did. Sarah deserved to be given a chance at life, who are we to judge that a person isn't worth living ? Anyone of us could have been Sarah in the walking dead universe. She didn't deserve to die and she clearly didn't deserve all this hate.

Well, looking back on my remark about people hating her in the beginning was a mistake, I should have phrased it better. I am pretty much aware of the Duck hate, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't expect players to change their minds regarding Sarah as well(Larry is another example of that).
If you mean that Telltale might have had other plans for her then I agree
Yeah, this was my main observation. I could imagine Telltale wanting to develop Sarah as being of much more use to Clem, sort of like what Robin is to Batman(since you mentioned Duck), but they most likely decided to scrap it. I am sticking to my idea that Sarah's character was a gamble that, unfortunately, didn't pay off in the end.

To all those who hated Sarah because they saw her as a danger and a liability, if we choose to go by that logic, most people would have to be left behind. Rebecca could have been left behind because she was pregnant, Kenny could have been left behind because he is injured, same as Luke who was injured by Carver, after all he could slow us down. If everyone had this mentality, everyone would become savages, there wouldn't be left any friendship, any family bonds, any groups. Instead people would kill each others, steal from each others until there is no one left alive save walkers. And also leaving the "weak" behind didn't benefit Carver or Crawford.
I could never stand her tbh, and that never changed, not saying I threw a party when she bit the dust but she was never a character that grew on me.
She just sat there mowping about the place, I know that was dueto carlos in a lot of ways and it wasnt her fault but no I never took to her,, I tried to save her both times tho....

well weve been robbed of seeing her develop, because Telltale didn't know what to do with her.

St John's farm remembers.
Not a good reason to kill someone. This ain't GTA, bro.
Plenty more than that. When you're talking to Clementine about her in the RV, when you're talking with Ben on the train, and when you talk to Alvin
i hated the cabin group at first but they really grew on me,even Rebecca who i hated i like in the end.Sarah has got a lot of fans just like Nick.
Clementine has the option to tell Carver that her name is Carley. Means how much she valued her.
I'm not one of those people. I liked her from the beginning, TBH.

my clem doesn't give a damn about sarah.

%80 of players helped Sarah with her chores, so...
You're not alone she annoyed me too but i can understand why people liked her. She was clems friend and brought out the innocence in Clem.

I didn't like her, but I think it's Telltale's fault for giving such a complex character such little room to develop.
