Will Luke be able....

to pull the trigger against the Ruskies? Hard to fault a guy for not wanting to take a life. However, in TWD universe this is a big character flaw imo. I seriously wonder when the shooting starts he will have the guts to actually pull the trigger. Prime examples of his unwillingness to harm a living being are when he lectures Carlos about not doing anything bad to Carver after he makes his appearance at the cabin, being the only one that argues with the group when Kenny is about to kill Carver, and being upset with Clem killing the DOG even after it attacked her. What are your thoughts?

Well with carver, they still could have escaped either way, he doesn't really have a choice with the Russians. In episode two on the bridge, if you choose the option "I'd shoot me," he says that if it comes down to it he'll shoot the guy first. So i guess he can harm the living if needed.

  • Luke will. If it's a 'you or them' situation, I think he can. Luke's protests at Kenny killing Carver was less about the killing and more about the how. He didn't like how brutally he was about to kill Carver. He even says in episode four that he wasn't sure what he would do, just that it would be "less" than what Kenny did.

I think he will in defence of his group. If his group were being threatened, I think he'd be able to take down the threat although he may hesitate.

  • Thanks. I'd never selected that option.
