Mike Is A Boss - Confirmed
WHAT. DID . I . SAY- I made a whole thread two weeks ago about how much of a beast Mike is and he didn't disappoint at all this episode. Comedic relief, saving Clems life, and just in general caring for the group- HE COULD DO NO WRONG.
I mean its worth I say this now as I see Mike having an "early exit" next episode, but than again you never know!
Anyways the joke about the raccoon and the confederate jacket were A+ all around. Mike, you got my vote for President if you choose to run if the zombie apocalypse ever ends.

I love Mike, we just need some damn backstory on him, as he's just the token black dude right now.
They handled the characters really well this ep. Mike, Jane improved character development.
I agree. Shame that I have a bad feeling Mike is not going to make it out of the shootout to start Episode 5. . . and that Jane left.

Lets be honest, telltale will kill him off anyway. He isn't a "major" character. The only people I give a chance of surviving this season are Clementine and either Luke or Bonnie (but not both)
So that being said, lets celebrate him while he is still alive in our game- even if it will only be for a few seconds in Episode 5.

He sounds a little more young in my opinion. No one is able the same voice as the awesome Dave Fennoy.

Yeah, but not everyone is from the USA, so you shouldn't assume everybody studies that stuff in their country. Here in Brazil we don't study all the minimal details of it, such as which side wore what color, just the reasons it happened and how it turned out; So I didn't get the joke before coming to the forums either.
That's a fair point, I haven't really thought about it from a foreign perspective. But a simple google search would have answered the question a lot quicker than wandering in the dark per ce, no?

At this point, I'd want Clem with either Mike or Bonnie over the other two people on the team. They seem to care the most about her and wouldn't just run off to do it with the first hottie that asked them, at least not when everyone was in peril and they were trying to do something, you know, major like have a kid around.
I know he's gonna go but his death isn't determinant so maybe he'll go out doing something brave. Maybe taking a bullet in the shootout for Clementine or something? I don't think he'll make it to the end of the episode, sadly but he would be my pick of the four that we aren't playing. (Well, there's a baby too but if this season ends with Clem and a baby in her arms, I'm gonna be irritated at that. Like, srsly.)
Somehow,I knew Mike was gonna be awesome from the first time I saw him.I can't believe Reggie said Carver was "ok",but Mike was a "jerk".

I know they're the only two people capable of raising Clem and the baby. Kenny is losing it and frankly being creepy with the baby, Luke is too young and would jump at the opportunity of sex, Jane has left, Christa is likely dead. So Mike and or Bonnie are really the only two people capable of taking care of anyone, none of the other survivors are capable of taking care of anyone let alone themselves.

yea, it is. A lot of people are feeling ripped off by Nicks death, well I hope Telltale knows what they are about to do with this point blank gun fight. . . if more than 2 from our group gets killed here I would be more angry than shocked. I actually could see Telltale doing this solely to start the episode with a "bang"
Yeah, I'm from England, I'll assume gray was the pro-slavery side. I know Predisent Lincoln was anti-slavery. I also take History at GCSE level. We have only studied the American West 1840-95, Nazi Germany, Northern Ireland, and we will be looking at Medicine throughout time next year. I'm sure in America you would learn more of American History but that isn't the case elsewhere. So forgive me for not knowing.

I hope we meet her again sometime, she knew what she was doing when everyone else pretty much goes with the flow with no real planning.
I thought they had pretty different voices.
