I agree, they did do a 180. I like Rebecca's personality change better though, as I can only imagine a pregnant woman would be going through a lot of hormanally induced emotional changes.
But Carlos, I never liked Carlos. He demanded my Clem stay away from Sarah, then begs me to look out for her? Dude, why didn't you look out for me when I needed a damn doctor? Damn Carlos.
It seems like Rebecca and Carlos were almost 180'd as characters. I would much rather prefer them stay the way they were to see how the season played out.
Yeah, I really believe that Rebecca was interested in Carver and then he raped her when things got too heavy... And I would be mad too if that was why a crazed madman kidnapped me and my group, but if Rebecca was raped, I wouldn't be mad at her at all.
It was just sad in the Pete v. Nick decision, Pete was kind to Clem right off the bat, and then he's the first in the cabin group to die! It was like TT is like, handing us great characters who have a lot of potential, and then ripping them away for the shock effect. Nick's death was the worst IMO.
Yeah... Sarah was just a disaster waiting to happen. It was apparent she would die later on, so I really never liked her anyways. And I never liked Carlos...
It's okay, my threads are for ramblers like me! Ramble on my friend!
Although I'm still enjoying this season, I think the quality of the writing has gone down and it feels like the story has been effected due … moreto too many rewrites.
Rebecca started out being horrible to Clem and was holding a dark secret of who the father is. This basically fizzled out into nothing by the very next day and the question was never really brought to the forefront even in episode 3. She was the whole reason Carter was after them and despite making out it was a dark secret, the group never really questioned it even after Carver caught them and pratically said "our child". Surely at that stage, the group should be livid with her? They thought Carver was after them because they left, not because of their baby.
Pete, Luke and Nick. I think the choice between Nick and Pete should of been between Luke and Nick. They were good friends before the walker outbreak and it makes sense for them to go out hunting etc together. Luke always s… [view original content]
I'm not mad at Luke for the Jane thing, I think I was more upset in this episode about how he treated my Clem. Everyone really. I know Clem is capable and strong, but abandoning her in the herd, Luke and Kenny, and everyone else? Rebecca was the only one there because she was scared, and Jane came back to help them. But seriously, Luke and Kenny were total asses this whole episode.
Maybe it's because of things going on in my own life right now, but I really could care less about Kenny right now. He didn't apologize to my Clem, and I wasn't being aggressive with him, I said I was sorry and told him Clem needed him, and he brushed me off.
I care about Bonnie and Mike, but I'm certain they'll be dying at some point in ep 5. And all I can do is gear myself up for Clem to be alone, and just not caring about any of the characters deaths at this point. I doesn't mean I wouldn't try to save them all if I had the chance, it's just, look at the whole game series, it's about making connections and then watching them ripped away and killed off. I guess ep 4 just really hit me wrong.
But Kenny and Luke can still redeem themselves in ep 5, which I really hope they will, I don't want to dislike them ...
Im not angry with the poor guy, not one bit. And I side with Kenny not Luke, at any given choice. Its the ZA for gods sakes, the chances of … morerelaxation through sex are almost nil, yet theyre both still human. They will want some form of 'connection' to life for want of a better word. They had just been through a traumatic experience at Carver's camp, then watched a third of their number die. In a situation such as this, your group is your family, and whilst so many of you are berating Luke for not grieving for Nick. This was part of the grieving process - he had no chance to grieve at the mobile home other than a broken "Fuck..." Maybe Jane wanted to do this for him, knowing he was hurting physically and emotionally? Yes, it was piss poor timing, but did the guy even know she was in labour at the time? Just cut the guy a break, maybe, just maybe. After losing Pete - the last thing he had resembling family, then Nick - on top of the others, kno… [view original content]
I enjoy watching YouTubers play TWD. Its impossible not to notice that people who were crying like babies in Season 1, like Cryaotic, aren't anywhere near as choked up by Season 2.
Why would they be? People got a chance to know Carley and Doug and Ben and Katjaa and Duck. We don't know this new group hardly at all. So why should it make people sad when they start dying like flies?
I didn't cry at the end of season 1, but that was because I already knew what was gonna happen and it was 6 in the morning as I beat the entire first season in one day in one sitting. So I was emotionally drained. But when I watched PewDiePie play the ending, I lost it.
I agree, this season hasn't let us get to know any of the characters any better. And Luke, Nick, and Pete were the only ones from the Cabin group I felt attached too. Nicks death was awful in ep 4. We didn't even get any lines, and then to have to hack his face to pieces? I couldn't help but shut myself off to do that.

Yeah, Rebecca probably had a lot to be mad about in a short amount of time. And I feel her writing was well thought out. But Carlos was just portrayed as a really dumb supposed doctor. He doesn't know how to turn off a really simple wind turbine, and he completely trusts an 11 year old girl to do so. He also doesn't know how big a little house by the bridge is. Also no matter what you say he still asks you to watch Sarah.

I can find less depressing reasons to drink. But yes, this whole damn series is an excuse to drink. XD
I do, but in the sense that so much negativity happened. I still care about Kenny.
Yeah, it feels a bit rushed IMO.

Yeah, I guess that's all the Walking Dead really is, negativity... I always feel depressed after playing each episode. ;___;
