Something more than this...
So I've been hearing a lot of people on the forum that are disappointed with nicks "death" well it's easy to criticise but hard to create. So if you don't like someone's death, create a new one for them. It doesn't have to be for nick, it can be for anyone who's death you found unsatisfactory. Here I'll start.
Instead of finding nick undead on the fence, he is Alive (if you saved him) holding out with Luke and Sarah. You can even hear his voice from outside, trying to get Luke to leave Sarah behind before they're surrounded. Once you get in, nick will watch the door while you Luke and jane try to get Sarah to move. You will be surrounded, Luke will try to boost you but fail, nick says he will do it, but before he can the walkers start to break down the door. nick and jane will hold the door, while you and Luke push the desk, you will also not have to help jane at the door as nick will do that. Choose to save Sarah or leave her. If you leave her Luke will go up followed by Clem, jane then nick. If you save her Luke, will go up followed by Sarah, Clem and jane. Nicks foot gets grabbed (because you took too long for everyone to escape) and he is pulled down and eaten while you and Luke watch. This gives the choice to save Sarah some more weight. Rather than just eluding to running out of time, you actually do.
Then in the gift shop, nick will help fight off the walkers, and instead of Luke, he will help you push the cannon, he will push from the far side, away from the gift shop. When the floor breaks he will back away taking him farther from the gift shop, so that when the deck falls he falls too and ends up trapped like Sarah would have been. Nick, being a full grown, sensible man, and not a young, panicking girl like Sarah, will attempt to push the boards off, with some success. You can try to get jane to go down for nick, but she won't, saying he's a big boy who can take care of himself, mike will then help Luke pull jane up and Luke will glare at you for not helping (even when you were trying to help HIS friend). Nick will manage to push off the boards, just before the walkers reach him, he turns to climb up the deck...
And then that falling board hits him on the head, knocking him down. He can't recover in time, and the walkers begin to eat him as he screams. Luke asks Clem if he can borrow her gun, which he uses to put his friend out of his misery.
