  • I'd say adrenaline helps alot to her strength. But I'm sure she is strong, I wouldn't pick a fight with her. Rumor has it she lifts salt licks with her bare hands.

  • "Stronger than one

    Stronger than ten

    Stronger than a hundred men!"

  • but the water was stronger :-)

  • I feel like adrenaline would be counteracted with starvation. So, if she is weak from starvation then the adrenaline would only restore her to "normal" strength and nothing more than that.

  • Weaker then a water bottle.

  • Its going to be revealed in season 3 that bigby used to be her babysitter before Sandra and that he trained and mentored her.

  • You'll be amazed at what spending years fending for yourself will do to a child.

  • Physically? Not very strong at all.

Mentally? VERY strong. She almost never tears up anymore.

  • There's only so much a person can take, and for a little girl or just a person in general, she's really strong (Mentally of course) but everyone has limits.and in episode 5 we'll see what happens and how much more she can take.. #ForClementine

  • Apparently strong enough to kick down a trailer door.

  • And to drag Lee....

She sure as hell made it look easy to pull her whole body up like that. But really, its not that easy.

  • Well its easy for Clem, because she's you know....... Clem.... ForClementine

Clem's a light girl, but the feats she's capable don't at all seem implausible (beyond her dragging a full-grown man at the age of 9 and kicking down a door that a pack of corpses couldn't break). I appreciate that the fights she's been in so far have all taken advantage of her speed, small size and marksmanship rather than brute strength.

It makes me wonder if a teenaged Clementine won't resemble Molly.

  • Characters and zombies are as strong as the writer needs them to be. Remember:

-Carver can get shot in the arm, yet still use it perfectly well enough to shoot a guy's face off moments later.
-Bonnie gets shot in the shoulder, yet her arm is fine in 400 Days.
-Nick is capable of fending off a horde of zombies while drunk by punching them in the face, yet is later unable to fight off a single zombie.
-Kenny can shoot out Carver's knees and kill Rebecca with only one eye.

If Clem can kick a door in, I'd say she' pretty strong.

  • They all got lucky.. Puts shades on

  • Mentally, very strong! Physically, strong enough. She has plenty of strength in those legs but in her arms... Enough to stab a walker in the head pretty good but not enough to carry those big water jugs from episode four, Mike lifted with no problem. Idk.

  • Yeah, I was a little surprised she didn't cry when kenny yelled at her, I would have if I was her..

  • Well you can't forget that she's still a 11 year old girl, and she's still growing. Mike is a grown up. Clementine for her age, she is above the charts physically and mentally. For an adult, she is still really strong, mentally.

  • True. Can you imagine how strong she'll be as an adult?! O.o

  • Remember that the zombies have been rotting for at least a couple of years now, making them likely to be a lot softer. Killing them also gets easier with practice, of which Clem's been getting plenty.

  • Well, this episode a lot of people made a big deal about her kicking in a door. Honestly, it was probably just rotted, that's not too farfetched. But the thing people seem to not be taking note of is that there were a bunch of zombies pounding away on it beforehand and they couldn't break it, so apparently she's stronger than multiple zombies.

I think one thing is, zombies can be erratic. If they aren't all doing it, then it becames a scattered effort. Second, zombies lack technique and focus(because, well, they are zombies). A thinking living human is way smart and way more driven to do something.

That said, I thought it was odd that Clementine could kick down a door. I am several sizes bigger than Clementine, and no way I can do that.

  • The zombies probably weakened it, and it was rotted.

  • Strong enough to survive.

  • Than i realized i had annoying genetics xD

  • Almost, yes. She cried in episode 1 :(

  • Well... yes and no. Yes - she's strong enough mentally to survive every day in this brutal world with almost no hope for a better times. She saw a lot of people that she cared about died and still she somehow endure from it. No - she isn't HTAT strong enough mentally. Physically for sure but mentally too. I mean it's complicated. Like I said she is strong but also she isn't. Why? It's a damaged little girl. I mean look at her from season 1 and then season 2. See a diffrences? She's more mature, sure, but it came out from bad things that she experienced in the past. She definitely still blames herself for some of the events from season 1 like with what happened to Lee or Omid from season 2. Clementine thinks it's her fault and it's natural. She went to look out for her parents and because of that Lee died. That's why she feels guilty.

Yes - she's strong, mature kid that can take care of herself and she's very smart. No - she's also a bit damage because of what happened to her in the past.

  • Guys... Clementine is strong...She can do anything...

  • It's determinant. The Clementine I've developed is a girl who retains her compassion for weak people like Sarah and Nick, taking upon other people's responsibilities and giving them a second chance. On the other hand, she has no patience for people who hurt children or her family, has a somewhat reckless streak, and is perfectly willing to kill someone if they are hostile.

No matter how kind you make her, Clem will still be depressed and lack joy in child-like behavior. But it doesn't mean she needs to lose her humanity and become a sociopath.

  • Well, her guilt isn't determinant. It's her character development and I never said that she needs to lose her humanity or something. I don't want her to. :P
