Would you go on living if you were Kenny?

edited July 2014 in The Walking Dead

At this point I think Kenny is barely hanging by a thread. He lost pretty much everyone close to him and right now he seems like he has no one to care about. He still cares about Clementine, but depending on your choices in Episode 4 their relationship is put in doubt. At one point it I think he will give up. There is so much a man could take at this point. He's had a lot of character development and we've come to get attached to him in some way. Though Trolltale is evil and will probably kill him off in the finale. They're setting him up for a dramatic death. All this pain he felt throughout his life is going to culminate in him saving someone in the end and lamenting on his shitty life. However I have a feeling he won't make it out alive. Though that is the best ending for him so he won't suffer anymore. I'm preparing myself for the inevitable mindfuck. Episode 4 already scarred me enough. I don't expect a happy ending at all.

  • Yeah. Suicide isn't an option for me.

  • I think we're set to see both Kenny and Luke die slowly through the course of Episode 5. Episode 4 developed Bonnie and Mike a little more just so that they could be killed off, and Luke was right next to the skinhead who started shooting so I bet he'll be heavily injured as well. Maybe "Amid The Ruins" was intentionally the bleakest episode in the season in an attempt to make the players share Clem's feelings of not wanting to care anymore, setting us up for a finale that can remind us that not everything is constant misery.

It'd be nice if he and Luke finally buried the hatchet in the face of impending death and focused solely on protecting Clem and Rebecca's son. Delivering them to Wellington (perhaps with Christa) would likely be a bittersweet end to a season that's been almost constantly miserable.
