How do the police find vinces gun - every outcome?

Hi! Does anybody how the gun turns up for every single place you can hide them for vinces story in 400 days?

    This is Vince's dialog for each choice:

    Keep Gun: "Cops caught up to me before I ditched the gun."

    Ditch in Trash Can: "Some stupid dog knocked the can over the next day. Kid found it and turned it in."

    Ditch on Roof: "It was a good throw. And the roofer found it the next day."

    Ditch in Storm Drain: "I guess it was clogged up with leaves. Street cleaner found it the next damn day."

    Bad Luck Vince!
