When did...?

Hey guys, this is kind of a pointless thread but I'm just curious, when/why did the Cabin group stop calling the zombies "Lurkers" and start calling them "Walkers"? I know its not important, its just something that seemed odd to me. I thought the term certain characters used was formed from habit. I mean I'm sure they were calling them Lurkers for like two years and all of a sudden they call them walkers.

  • I didn't like the term lurkers but I also found it weird how they changed so fast and even Carver in episode 3 calls them walkers without even hearing the term :P

  • It feels like a continuity error. Another mark against Amid the Ruins.

  • In the comics, "lurkers" are a type of walker. i think (don't quote me on this) that the others are called "roamers". I'm pretty sure 'lurkers" are just zombies that are rotted/cannot really move or have recently eaten. They "lurk". Roamers...roam, i guess.

  • That's an absolutely absurd statement to make since it started in A House Divided lol

  • I guess it depends of the person, remember Molly? She used to call them Geeks, but nice find I didn't notice it x3

  • I think it's due to everyone else calling them Walkers. Or like ClemTheBraavosi said, the name they use is to group each type of zombie, or like darky07 said, they could just call them whatever they want... remember when Lee called his brother a zombie in episode 1 A New Day?

  • I dont really understand the problem with amid the ruins aside from Nick it had everything everyone wanted with hubs, more fun things and development. Maybe some people were mad about the slide but brightened shadows were a strange thing to exaggerate on. I mean Carley and doug were on the slide.

Sarah was one of the routes i always expected they could have gone with her to be honest, I didnt have a problem with it even if it wasnt exactly happy
