Realistically?

Shouldn't Clem, Kenny and Mike all be dead?

Let's reverse to the start of Episode 4, you have the choice of cutting Sarita's arm off or not. If you cut Sarita's arm off, she is mauled to death by zombies but her arm was still bleeding out. Clem, Kenny and Mike were around Sarita while her arm was bleeding and yet the zombies just merely walked past them even though the blood was still squirting out.
If you decide to kill the walker though, there is still sight of blood on Sarita's hand which should be enough to attract walkers? So they would have been mauled to death again.

I've been wanting to make a thread on this since the episode was released but didn't want to spoil anything for players who hadn't played the game yet. Anyway, realistically they would have all died which would have made a lot of other things different further in the episode. Luke and Sarah would probably be dead and the others would be lost as to what to do with Rebecca's baby.

  • I don't mean it to be a negative thread, I'm just stating how it would be different, that's all.

  • Larry its not the time

  • They were completely covered in blood to mask the scent, pretty sure a little more only helped things, even though I hate what happened to Sarita.

  • The walkers couldn't tell the different between the group and the herd because of the smearing. The only reason Sarita was bitten was because she killed the walkers approaching Clementine after Sarah's screams, and I guess that walker snuck up on her. Her blood and screams are what caused her to be bitten again, but the rest of the group was covered.

  • Kenny and Mike were shouting at each other though, the noise must've had some sort of effect on the walkers. I know right, RIP Sarita

  • they should all be walker chow, since none of 'em could keep their mouth shut while shuffling through the crowd....

of course, we're talking about a game where the dead have reanimated and feed on the living, so realism isn't exactly a high priority ;)

  • When someone screams Bloody Murder all the zombies come toward them and Saritas zombie blood is gone now that she has alive human blood squirting out of her arm.

Clem And all those guys really werent screaming bloody murder.

Zombies dont really care about other guys when there is somebody screaming.

If there is two guys on the ground. One crawling but not saying a thing losing blood and the other one is screaming and not moving. The zombies are going to go to the guy who is screaming

  • That ruined the suspension of disbelief, yeah. Sarah's screaming drew zombies nearby, but it was cancelled out by Bonnie shooting down the zombies near her.

  • Well... In all fairness, realistically there wouldn't be zombies...

  • I didnt hear the shooting, Too much chaos i guess

  • You see Bonnie shooting zombies and yelling "Sarah" right after Sarah's reaction to her dad's death in Episode 3.
