January, I think. It's looking like I will change my major and transfer to a university in Florida for that sweet, sweet in-state tuition. Until then, I'm going to work and try to build a portfolio of freelance writing.

The first day of middle school is always one of the roughest. Just don't be afraid to ask for directions but keep your head down - I'm warning you. Good luck!

Don't worry about school so much, If someone picks on you call the ACLU. If you need the # just google it. I graduated highschool, then college, went in the army for a while, and now i'm back, back again.

Be yourself! For heavens sake change for no one! Just find where your classes are and you should be fine!
Be yourself and make friends with the right people. And believe me when I say that Highschool goes by very fast

Its not as hard as it may seem initially, keep good focus in class, if you actually try and pay attention tests are a breeze, i hardly ever study and I get 80% usually, although its okay to piss around to sometimes just dont do it to often. as far as meeting new people, talk to as many people on the first day, you will get LOTS of friends trust me, although keep in mind, not everyone will like you, so if someones a dick, well then who cares what they think or say, also don't worry about older kids, trust me, highschool isnt like it is made out to be in the movies, don't worry, there wont be any gr 12s beating you up and taking your money ;p
Heh, I remember my first day of middle school... I walked into the janitors closet. I'm in high school now though. You'll be fine.

At my school we start GCSE in year 9 for some reason, I'm going into year 11 now. What options did you take?
I never studied in high school either. It was a waste of time.
I started in year nine but that was pretty basic. Drama,history,geography,french
I took History, Photography, Media and IT Pro.

I went back last Wednesday.

Well, I finished the first day. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. But about a month or two in I bet there's gonna be chaos. Calling it.
I'm going to 8th grade, and I've never studied a day in my life. Apparently those teachers who told me that I'd never amount to anything if I never studied should talk to my 3 presidential awards. :P
To many people are saying that....
Yeah, It was an ok first day.... Barely anybody I knew was in my classes... and two girls I had problems with in the summer are in two of them....FUUU and my science is full of older kids... Why did I take the advanced class :C
Its a good thing that high school goes by fast in my opinion
