Anyone see the new Doctor Who episode?

I like Peter Capaldi, he's a nice change from the younger versions of the doctor, I'm glad it managed to balance the clock off over the top nonsense with dark and gritty. Sure it was creepy in a few places but it still managed to keep the charm. And bringing back the clockwork droid was awesome.

I liked it. It seemed alot more... random than usual, which was cool. xD I love how they explored Clara's character even more. Strax, Jenny and Vastra were cool in the episode too.
I really liked the new episode too. I'm very intrigued by the new Doctor. Do you guys think he pushed the guy off the ship or did the guy jump?
Well if what River (Guessing it is River) says then he did. Which is really dark thing for the Doctor to do. Plus it was a really good scene.
It would be really dark, but that's what makes it so fascinating! I'm really excited for this season!
So you think that woman was supposed to be River? I wasn't sure what to make of her.
Well she does refer to her "Boyfriend". Ever this is a woman from the future who the Doctor will meet or could be a regeneration of River.
Maybe. I'm just so used to Alex Kingston as River Song that I can't picture another actress playing that character. Sure I can handle different actors playing the Doctor, that's practically a tradition now. But to me, Alex is River.
The new actor who could be her seems alright, she was in Bad Education that BBC3 Show, (If you're British)
Nah, I'm American. Watched it on BBC America.
I guess we'll just have to see who exactly this new woman is in future episodes. I am intrigued.
I thought it was pretty decent episode. The new title sequence seems kinda meh but whatever, I'm not watching it for the opening sequence. The new doctor seems okay, I bet I'll get used to him in time. And the cameo of Matt Smith was nice .
I read some theories on the internet that the woman at the end could be The Master (Missy - Mistress - Master). It would be funny if that was true. But I guess it's someone entirely new.
I hope it wouldn't be the Master, I think they've done enough for the character.
Yeah I got to see it in theaters and I liked it a lot. I am really excited to learn who the woman at the end is in the next episodes.
Oh really you saw it in theaters? The beginning must have been a awkward moment though. A bit off a miss in my opinion.
With that new actor in my opinion, they've made a massive f***ing mistake.
You mean Capaldi?
Ha, I knew it!
If you're talking about Missy, I wish it was someone better. Like The Rani. It was a weak reveal :<, or maybe even one of River's regenerations.
Being one of River's regenerations would've been a far worse idea in my opinion.
It depends on how they pulled it off, having the Master just appear because "HOLY SHIT GUYS SEE LOOOOOOK" The Master's story should have ended. It was so blatant that you would think they'd pull something different off.
River is deceased, she's only alive through a simulation in the library. Plus I like how her story concluded, her character should not return since she was particularly close to the Eleventh Doctor's life.
I couldn't disagree more. The Master is an iconic villain of the franchise, and was long overdue for a return (having not appeared since 2010). Heck I predicted since the end of Matt Smith's tenture they were going to return the Master. I even predicted he'd be female or a different race such as African American. The Master being killed off is insane, he's like the one very few dangerous enemie that we only get to see ever so occasionally. I've not been this excited watching the show in quite a long time.
The Master is bar none my favourite Doctor Who villain. So this may sound biased, so I hope you understand my rant over you saying his story should end as complete blasphemy.
