Wait, what year is it?

I have never gotten the chance to know what year it is in the walking dead the game..Has Telltale told us about it or something? What do you think? Share your thoughts here.

    You mean the timeline of the story and characters? The comics started in 2003 I think, so that's when it was stated to happen, or so I've heard from other fans. So as of right now it would be 2003-2005 (seasons 1 and 2), I suppose.

    2004 or 2005 as of Season Two would be the guess if you want to go by when the comic series started.

    I don't think there's ever been an officially confirmed year though. I remember a few times the comics had some errors where they had more modern items made in the 2010's.

    I'm pretty sure that Kirkman's said that the exact time doesn't really matter. It probably starts somewhere between now and the early 2000's.

    Let's see, comics and whole WD universe (par the show) started in 2003.
    Comics are around 2007/2008 (about two years plus a 3 year time jump)

    TWD Game had around 6-7 months during Season 1, so 2004, then a 2 year time jump from S1 to S2. And Kirkman said the game is "almost there, but not quite" as far as timeline goes, and Clem was 9 at the end of season 1 (in 2004), now she's 11/12 so it is now 2007.

    So by 2014 Clem would be around 19 years old? Woo she's grown up :D
