The Walking Dead. A Game Where there IS No Right or Wrong
If things were universally right or wrong, we would've been able to agree on something by now.
Let's just look back at this people. We're all arguing over a game that has based every single decision as something that can't be right or wrong. My evidence? If something was considered Morally Right or Wrong, then the percentages would be much more geared towards a singular choice. It wouldn't look so much like a 50/50 result we are used to seeing with every episode when we get to see everyone else's and our own choices.
I'm about to go into a huge spoiler for the whole series, so if you haven't played Season 1, I advise you do. (Cause it's better IMO)
Examples of what I'm saying:
Duck v. Shawn
Save the kid who is weaker but pinned Shawn down? Or save Shawn, the person who is more defenseless?
Carley v. Doug
Carley who is a good shot (and a woman whom knows Lee's past)? Or Doug, a cool smart guy who doesn't know Lee's past?
Shoot Lee v. Let him Reanimate
Do we have a little girl we love and want to protect shoot the man that protected her? Or do we leave the man we love to reanimate and possible suffer as a Walker longer?
Pete v. Nick
Pete was on our side from the start, even before Luke, but he's been bitten and will turn. Nick, the guy who first shot at us, and he's not bitten.
What it's come down to is purely preference.
Can we please just stop de validating each others opinions?
Comments
Yes, can we? I'd love for this whole "this is right" or "this is wrong and you're an idiot and (insult) if you disagree with me!" shit to stop.
It's on both sides. And the reason why so many of us are sticking with our choices is because its RIGHT to us. If it was universally right, we could just agree.
I agree. There's no right or wrong. It's YOUR Clementine. You pick the option that you think is the best, for her and you.
[[oops double post I hate you internet]]
Yep. Fully agree.
Time for this childish name calling 'ur rong im rite lol' crap to be removed from this forum.
Exactly.
Sadly it's gonna go on for a while...
