Season 2 DLC theory.

edited September 2014 in The Walking Dead

I've been thinking a lot about a possible season 2 dlc and I have this theory. Basically, what Telltale could really do is: explore their multiple endings in the dlc.

  • At Howe's, with Jane and AJ: Starts with a scream, Jane will check it out while Clem stays at Howe's with the baby. Clem will check some stuff and after exploring a certain object, like a sofa or bed, she decides to rest for a bit. Jane wakes her up, saying that it was the family that they turned away. Randy was bitten, Gill was shot in the stomach and Patricia was suicidal. Clem feels guilty and Jane comfort her, saying that they'd die anyway without supplies. (The Walking Dead title shows up) There's a time skip of a few weeks. Clem and Jane struggle to keep Howe's safe, slowly reconstructing it. They don't trust new people at all. Soon, they are trapped at Howe's with strangers, they help Clem and Jane, earning the girls trust. Lots of exploring and lots of hubs with Jane and the strangers. In the end, the strangers convince Jane and Clem to give strangers a chance to prove themselves.
  • At Howe's, with Jane, AJ and the family: Starts with a campfire hub! You learn more about the family and a little more about Jane. You’ll be able to interact with objects around. Then, the group will decide to get some rest (The Walking Dead title shows up) There's a time skip of a few weeks. Howe's almost "rebuilt", their system is a council (Jane, Randy, Patricia and some new characters that we would get to know in the dlc). Clem will play with Gill and try to be a kid again for a while, but she still helps around with the walls. They give people a chance to prove themselves in their community.
  • With AJ: The baby starts crying in the middle of that herd, Clem can try to calm him down, but either way she'll have to make her way through with AJ. First opportunity she gets, she makes a run for it. (The Walking Dead title shows up) There's a time skip of a few weeks. Clem will survive on her own with AJ, covering herself in guts and scavenging most of the times, she will have choices like try to help strangers in trouble or just walk away. It would be awesome if Clem got captured by bandits, then she kills one by one silently with a knife or something in the neck, scavenging their bodies and escaping with AJ, leaving the bandits she killed to turn and kill the other bandits.
  • Staying at Wellington, and leaving Kenny: Starts with Edith telling Clem she's sorry about that, wishing they had one more slot for Kenny. Edith will give Clem some time to prepare to enter Wellington's safe zone, since she will still be sad about leaving Kenny. Hub with Edith and exploring the main gate. Clem will then enter the community and be welcomed by most people nearby, everyone is very friendly and surprised when they see the baby. Clem will have a room next to Edith's place and if she needs anything, she's either at her house or working at the gate. Edith leaves after talking a little bit with Clem. (The Walking Dead title shows up) Clem will get to know people at Wellington, going to Wellington's school and make friends with a group of teens that love pranking around and sneaking through the gates (Clem will remember Duck and Sarah in some dialogues). She can also learn what happened to Kenny, hearing one of the guards commenting something like that to the leader "I just saw the grossest walker/lurker ever crawling around, it only had one arm, and no body below half of the rib cage, also had this bandage in his left eye, and part of his right cheek chewed off. Half of his beard had so much blood on it that I’d say he dyed it with some kind of red dye in the normal days. Son of a bitch must’ve been surprised by a herd. There must be one real close by, we gotta be careful". Then, it finishes with the leader making a speech to be careful around the gates.
  • Staying with Kenny and leaving Wellington: Starts with Kenny asking for your help to make sure a huge house, like the mansion in Savannah, is clear. The place has only three zombies, which make AJ cry, that are easily dealt with and about seven bodies. Kenny scavenges for food while you calm AJ down. Kenny then finds plenty of food and smiles, saying they hit the jackpot. You find a note on a table, written by one of the seven people of the starved group, learning what happened to them. (The Walking Dead title shows up) There's a time skip of a few weeks, Kenny and Clem are deciding if they should wait a little more in the house or go check if they can enter at Wellington, you'll leave the house either way (same thing with episode 4 final choice about waiting a few days of leaving the next morning). Kenny will thank Clem for not giving up on him, that he'll really become a better man for her and AJ. In the middle of the way, Kenny and Clem will have to avoid some bandits, but when they're almost though, AJ starts crying. Kenny and Clem will have to make a run for it. Good news is: they reach Wellington. Bad news is: the bandits are a few feets away from them, about to shoot. Edith will open the gate for Clem, Kenny and AJ. In the shootout, about six to eight people from Wellington die, including the leader. The people will blame Kenny and Clem for bringing the bandits there. Kenny starts making a speech about how he’s sorry about what happened, that he just wanted to be safe with all that he had left (Clem and AJ). Kenny is slowly becoming an important member of the community, even though some people still dislike him because of the bandit incident. Kenny’s actually changing, calming himself down and trying to do what Lee would do.

By the way, english isn't my native language... So, if you see any mistakes, don't bite me.
