What do you guys think about Keifer Sutherland voice as Big Boss?
I must admit that i was pissed of when they offed David Hayter, but even i cant deny that Hayter exaggerated the voice too much, it sounded like he got throat cancer in the last 2-3 games.
Starting to like Keifer Sutherland's voice alot more, its definitely giving the character a more serious tone whereas Hayters performance was becoming too cartoonish.
And the fact that Keifer (A real actor) is doing the face animation capture for Snake is just too awesome.
I stopped reading when I saw; "A real actor" in the brackets. David Hayter is an actor. There's a difference in fame, but they're both actors. Don't disqualify him as one simply because you prefer Kiefer.
I far prefer David. And not because of sentimental value but because he done a better voiceover. His voice performance as Old Snake in MGS4 in particular goes up there as one of my favourite voiceover performances in video games, period. He had it perfectly pitched, he should of won more awards for it.
Plus, Snake's voice sounding "Cartoonish"? Yeah, because you want realism in a franchise with cyborg ninjas, giant walking tanks, psychics, human clones, possession (to some extent), fourth-wall breaking, Nanomachines and do I need to mention the legendary Cardboard Box? I don't think I need to.
Case in point, the Metal Gear franchise has always been silly and goofy. I don't know why people like you are thinking the series is all of the sudden going to turn dark, gritty and realistic. The Phantom Pain LOOKED like it was going to take itself seriously in the trailers but look at the gameplay, still the same good ol' Metal Gear through and through. Cardboard Boxes, Fulton Recovery and super powered sexy snipers. It's still pure Metal Gear and I'm genuinely relieved because of it.

I think GZ's main story will be in The Phantom Pain, all those side-missions probably won't be. But I most certainly see the main GZ story event will be present in the main game. Making it a somewhat Tanker Chapter or Virtuous Mission variant.
I really didn't like how Ground Zeroes was made a separate game from Phantom Pain. Why not have it be the prologue?
Here's hoping a GOTY edition or Substance version with both GZ and PP.

And given a choice, either have David Hayter or Kiefer Sutherland voice Snake in MGSV, who would you choose?
I'd pick David in a heartbeat, but I also want to know what type of voice he would've given for this game. Maybe his MGS1 voice? That was the best version of the Snake voice.
I get even more annoyed by the voice change because Huey still has the same voice as Otacon. I think if this voice changed never happened everything would be fine. I'd still get the game regardless. I hope for a bundle of Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain that includes a David Hayter redub, like the HD collection of Silent Hill let you choose to either play with old voices or the new ones.

Okay guys, so I just made a short teaser for waht maybe could be a MGS-(short)film made with The Movies Game. Don't take into consideration how bad it is or something like that, this video is just to showcase what I want to do, make a MGS-movie. If someone here were really into it, we could maybe write a script, as well as adding voiceactors etc.

I just wish he'd speak slower and louder can't hear or understand a thing he says.

Gotta admit, the new way he says it makes me have hope for the guy. But David Hayter will always be the TRUE Solid Snake and Big Boss to me.
