What strategies and weapons will you use when the Ebola outbreak happens?

I watch The Walking Dead and zombie movies, so I'd know how to survive in the apocalyptic world. I'd probably use a sword like Michone, and some guns.

So yea what will you use?

  • Well Ebola isn't gonna cause the ZA, but if a ZA somehow happens I can get a boat (get means take) and round up enough supplies for a while.

  • sounds like a plan :)

My .22LR "assault weapon". It's relatively quiet and can punch through a human skull (at a reasonable distance). I'd just scavenge and try to keep a low profile.

    I wouldn't last long though.

  • Not exchanging body fluids with people. So far I've been pretty successful at that... I wish I wasn't...

    My teeth and claws.

  • Op, what Do you mean an apocalyptic world caused by the death of 75% of the world population or an apocalyptic world due to chaos caused by a pandemic or a zombie apocalypse caused by ebola?

  • Weapons? Ebola doesn't turn people into zombies or anything, it's just like any other disease but it's lethal.

Scientist are pretty near winning ebola and it's very unlikely it would spread to the whole world. Of course if it was to happen, I'd go buy a shotgun and kill every infected bastard I see.

  • Ain't you 14-17 years old?

At least you looked pretty young in the picture you posted on WTWDCYLL thread...

  • That would make it worse. Every shotgun blast would spread body fluids everywhere, increasing your chances of catching it.

  • I'm not going to shoot a micro-bacterial virus.

If you mean what if a ZA happens, well...Ill use what I can find and to just survive with as many people as possible.

  • A water gun! If anyone with ebola gets near me I will squirt them.

  • For me it would be like the show survivors, only a small percentage of the world, they have to leave cities etc as their rife with disease.

Honestly its kind of scary, I mean thinking about how much does any one person know about how anything in modern society works

  • Good point.

  • i meant like when the ebola situation gets worse, and the dead people who had it comes back to life, what will you do. Are you stocking up on food, weapons, supplies.

  • You sure about that?

  • Well I been stockpiling guns for quite a while now, I reload my own ammo, and I also have quite the ammunition cache, so when the shit hits the fan, I'll have enough bullets to make a difference.

My weapon of choice will be a Colt Python, out of all my guns i always had a sexual attraction to this beautiful revolver. The blue steel, so GD Gorgeous.

  • I get that a lot, but I'm 21. That picture was from when I was 20, I think.

  • Yeah...Ebola doesn't do that...

  • (!) Saltlick123 will remember that

  • I've got handguns, shotguns, hunting rifles, an AR-15 and a hunting dog. Also my buddies have a shit ton of guns and bullet proof vests, so we're pretty much set if any outbreak happens.

  • You sure look younger than you are but it ain't a bad thing, not at all.

"Growing up sucks ", that's my motto. When I was 13, I looked like 10-11 years old. Now i'm 15 and everyone thinks I'm 16-17 years old... it's weird growing up and getting older so fast..

  • Gloves, masks, one of those human-sized hamster balls....

All I have to do is not exchange bodily fluids and I'm good.

  • as some of us might have heard a scientist in New york has ebola. The virus is spreading and we must prepare.

If by 'prepare' you mean 'prepare for another mass swine flu-esque paranoia that'll reach a peak and then fizzle out and humanity will still be around,' then yes. We should prepare.

  • ...Where did you get that idea...?

Just wondering because Ebola doesn't bring dead people back to alive =/

  • I think Rosemary is too paranoid about this.

I would go to the gun store (just around the corner) pick up a PSG 1 and G36 both with silencers and a machete, find 2 of my sisters, find a defend able building to use for a base scavenge the town then once I looted the town then we move on to the next town.
