Should Christians acknowledge the presence of Satan?
This question has been floating in my head for weeks, this begun when a preacher came to our school and began talking about organizations that are possibly controlled by anti-christians, and he even said that Obama is in the Illuminati O_e. He said that we should be careful when listening to foreign songs(such as K-POP) because we don't know what they are saying under their native language, we could be singing "Let's praise the devil" without even knowing. It sounds absurd.
He said that God knows everyone, and people we idolize (namely One Direction, Taylor Swift, 5SOS etc,.) do not know our existence, unlike God does. He also said: "We should not idolize anyone, but our God."
And I just wanted to walk-out of his preaching session.
Now, back to the question, should Christians acknowledge the presence/existence of Satan/The Devil?
Discuss.

Uh...what? I'm unclear on what exactly you're asking or how it relates to the incident you describe. Are you asking whether or not it would be a good idea for Christians to stop acknowledging the presence of Satan in order to limit the influence he has on their lives? Although I'm not a Christian myself, I think the reply to that would be that ignorance of evil doesn't diminish evil; it only make evil stronger and more insidious.
I'm asking if it is good for Christians to basically know that Satan/The Devil exists in our daily life.
Well, assuming that he does in fact exist, why wouldn't it be a good to know about it?
What Christian doesn't acknowledge the existence of Satan?
Sounds like they will let anyone take time out of the education of children.
Time for me to go visiting middle schools giving speeches about Iraq, PTSD and jock itch.
That would be more useful to them, anyway.
I think that preacher should be admitted to a mental institution...
Wait, can I just stop you at the phrase "a preacher came to our school and began talking about organizations that are possibly controlled by anti-Christians"
Not that there aren't anti-Christian organizations (and how do I donate?) but this has no place in a school.
And this is where Christianity has a problem. God is all loving and all powerful; well, where did Satan come from? Who put the apple in the Garden of Eden? Who gave Adam and Eve temptation? If it was God, how can he be all loving? If Satan came and did it behind his back; how can he be all powerful?
Well for starters, your presenter is a fucking imbecile. I didn't know they were letting Pat Robertson talk at schools now.
As for Satan, I'd say no. A lot of Christian theology teaches that Satan only holds as much power as over people's lives as they allow.
The nut job does raise a good point; people should really be more selective about who they idolize and aspire to be like.
He has perverted the entire world, and stands ready to devour anyone like a roaring lion. You shouldn't idolize any human, you see how some of those kpop fans obessed with their group? Literally, worshipping the "idol". Ever looked up what an idol really means? I hope some sheeple really wake up one day. Don't know why I added the below pictures, just wanted to show some kpop influence and western by Satan and Baphomet

Also, I'd say if Kpop were the spawn of Satan, it would be this. A corporate owned and managed girl group, who made an entire song seeking to sell a cellphone produced by another corporation simply by dangling jailbait.
