"All right, let's Tom Cruise outta here."
"All right, let's Tom Cruise outta here." What in the hell does this phrase mean exactly? Born in America and lived here 25 years. I've heard every stupid phrase possible, but this one alludes me. I'm familiar with Tom Cruise's work, but I'm not sure if he's ever associated with smoking weed or whatever. Eddie from 400 days was a great character saying many funny things, but this one just made no sense. Can anyone inform me what this means exactly?

He's saying let's cruise out of here, while using the name of a famous actor.
It means that Tom Cruise runs a lot in his movies to escape something.
Edit: Never mind.
Vanilla Ice.
Are you guys serious?
It means leave, you know Cruise out of there...
Tom Cruise was just was a "cool" way of saying it.
Please tell me you are not serious.
I was 13 when I played 400 days and furthermore I'm foreigner and I still immidentaly got the joke...
And now 1,5 years later, I see people who STILL don't get the joke, wth.
I use this line in real life so now I'm the coolest kid on the block.

Driving as in cruise.
Cruise as in Tom Cruise, the famous actor.
He was making a pun.
